I’ve never actually eaten inside Slow Loris, but it’s become one of my most reliable spots in Flatbush for takeout and delivery. What I like the most about this Japanese-Korean fusion restaurant is that you can order something different every time and still be happy with what shows up. Consistency is the key word here.

Did I expect to walk in and be greeted by the sounds of Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion, and Richard Marx? Nope. But it was well received and totally set the vibe for me as I browsed the menu.

With a bottle of soju, I ordered the crispy hone chicken wings and the japche with beef. The wings were solid (yes, you can mess up a chicken wing). I really enjoyed the pickled radish that came with it. The japche also proved to be quite enjoyable, the beef quite flavorful....
