We went this past sunday- November 3rd. It was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Amazing crowd. Fantastic DJ. And the chef who is a special guest chef on Sundays only does the most amazing brunch! Bottomless mimosas for $20 sets the mood. Hoka available. And then there's the food which was an epic culinary celebration! We had the stuffed shrimp, the blackened salmon and both over grits which were creamy, flavorful and delicious! The salmon was cooked to perfection! Couldn't recommend this spot enough. My wife and I had an absolute blast. Thank you to one and all for making a rare Sunday date with my wife. One to remember!

If you're looking for a spot with great vibes, amazing happy hour deals, and some of the best wings in the area, Something on Myrtle is the place! Their drinks are on point, and the happy hour prices make it even better. Plus, they've got hookah for just $25, which is a steal. The real surprise? It’s not even packed! You can chill out with your drinks, wings, and hookah without fighting for space. If you haven't been, you’re missing out—thank me later!

“I recently visited Somethin’ on Myrtle, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The star of the meal was the stuffed shrimp and grits, which were absolutely phenomenal. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, with savory stuffing crab meat that added so much flavor, while the creamy grits and sauce provided the perfect base for this delicious dish.
The drinks were equally impressive, with a creative cocktail menu. The holy grail cocktail was amazing, I had two… Each drink was expertly crafted, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the meal.
The atmosphere of Somethin’ on Myrtle was cozy and inviting, with a lively yet laid-back vibe. Whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a night out with friends, it’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home. The staff were attentive and friendly, contributing to an overall fantastic dining experience. “A must try on your visit to New York!”
Sincerely just a Florida Girl in a big city….

The ambience is real cute. The dj was playing the tunes. The food was good, it just a long time. I order the lobster and broccoli with garlic sauce. The calamari was fried to perfection. The drinks were nice and strong (the SOM Punch)

Happened upon this place wandering Brooklyn. It's a gem. Intimate, hookas, DJ spinning lounge. It's a small place but the food is elevated. It was a perfect chill romantic late night dinner. The service was exemplary. The intimate vibe really gives attention to all guests and delighted this place landed upon us.

My party was seated within 10-15 minutes which was promising. The appetizers took about 20 or so mins to come out. The main courses took over 2 hours. I wanted the goat lo mein but they were out of goat. So I went with the braised Oxtail. Why did it take over an hr just to tell me there's no oxtail?? We wound up with chicken and rice 2 and a half hours later. I made the guy helping us aware that I cannot eat shrimp. There was shrimp in the chicken and rice that I did not originally ordered. It seemed like the owners wanted to cater to their friends more than patrons. I watched a guy who was nowhere to be found all night magically get a rack of lamb next to us. Then when he asked the waitress for a fork, she proceeded to take one of the fork/knife combo off our table. "Well do you need it? We can always bring you back another". Like come on. How about you ask us politely. We've only been waiting all our lives to eat.
While I will give them grace for discounting our check, the experience cost me more than any discount could cover. Will not return. After hours of waiting I couldn't even enjoy my food without an allergy pill. At least the jerk skewers were good.
