Came in for the first time today (lunch on 4/13/24), and the server (dopey-looking blond guy) was so rude. We were a party of four, and he seemed annoyed when we requested a table rather than sit at the bar. Bar seating is really only good for two people, three max. It's impossible to have a proper conversation with four people sitting in a row. They had a table for four available, but I guess dude didn't want to clean it. When we were finally seated, it took him so long to come over that we were ready to order everything. When he asked if we wanted drinks, I told him that we knew what we wanted for food, too. Most servers are happy to get everything at once, but his response was a surly, "Yeah well, I'm not ready to take your food order." Okay... This seems like the wrong line of work for someone with such poor customer service skills. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would never come back. As for the food, they have mostly white pies with béchamel sauce. I prefer pizza with tomato sauce, and the one we got (Whole Burrata Love) was decent. The other one with the béchamel (Kind Brother) was bland - lacking salt, seasoning, flavor, and acid. The best thing about it was the crust. We also got the kale apple salad which was overdressed and very tart. Too bad they couldn't put some of that acid on the white pizza. Overall, this place was not worthwhile. Next time I would go to Luigi's on DeKalb where they actually value their customers (and the food is better). Why spend money on a place where the wait staff obviously doesn't give a sh*t.

Have been here many times before and always had a good experience. But tonight I ordered some food to go and can't believe The portion size of this $17 dollar salad. It's got to be a joke. I've gotten 3x the amount when ordering in person.

Having grown up in one of America’s middlest states, I find myself frequently missing St. Louis-style pizza (it’s a thing, I promise!). The yeastless cracker-thin crust, the square “party cut” pieces, the Provel cheese-that-legally-is-not-cheese - it’s a crispy, punchy pie that’s the antithesis to Chicago’s deep dish pie (although I’ll admit Chicago’s “tavern style” pizzas are a pretty decent analog in a pinch).Speedy Romeo elevates STL style pizza while also dishing out plenty of other delights (their Caesar salad in particular is the best I’ve ever had). It’s a cozy, reasonably-priced spot and, while they may not serve up the square slices I grew up with, they offer something you can’t find at the city’s thousands of other pizzerias: a taste of my home state (without the crummy politics).

This is some of the best pizza I've ever had! I recently moved to the area and have been trying to find my new pizza place. The creative topping combos + rustic/industrial interior offered a fun, casual dining experience. Wine and beer was great and the service was good. No complaints! Definitely recommend.

The food was ok. Wings were good, pizza was Ok. It was interesting to try ST Lou style pizza in NYC. The waitress was good and very nice, but the second server seemed like he did not know what he was doing. He brought our pizza and the tiny table was still full of appetizers. He was a bit rude and almost dropped the pie.

I ordered online via Toast and just received my order. It was incorrect - even though the receipt was correct. I ordered a St. Louie and a Dangerfield. Why did I receive a Truffle Pizza instead of my St. Louie? I despise truffle-anything, so eating it is not going to happen.I atrwpted to call the restaurant multiple times and was sent to a voicemal box that is full. For the amount of money I paid, this inaccurate and nonexistent service is unacceptable.

Restaurant wasn’t full and I waited for over 15 minutes without any service. If you’re looking for pizza, there’s much better options within 3 blocks and if you’re just looking for food options, there’s better options even closer.

We had the Brocollini and the White Album and both were absolutely incredible. Great service, lovely restaurant. Definitely recommend.

Generally love Speedy but the 16$ caesar salad we received was actually a joke

For the price the pizza is too small.A lower price would match the whole better.
