As a St. Louis transplant, I’ve spent decades searching for a St. Louis style pizza in NYC to poor success, but everyone pointed to Speedy Romeo as my last, best hope. We went out in BedStuy to a place we were excited to try and heard good things about. Unfortunately we were met with not great service and okay food. The waiter seemed perturbed by my friend and I catching up and tried to hurry us up while eating. Not even offering us dessert. There seemed to be no one waiting afterwards either. Overall okay food with subpar customer service.
