Biscuits with mushroom gravy was amazing. Service was excellent. Molasses butter was excellent but too small a portion. Was not a fan of the sausage, hash brown, bloody mary, or pancake.

This place was very small and intimate but they good amount of seating plus bar seating. The service was great (we sat at the bar). The FOOD!!! Was amazing we had the shoreline breakfast, hush puppies, and the hen house(photo below) the portions are big. The star of the show was that molasses butter that came on top of the pancake SO GOOD.definitely coming back to get the crawfish dish

Very kind service and delicious Southern fare - the shrimp and grits were so flavorful and filling, and it came with housemade crackers that were so buttery and crisp. The Irish coffee was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be back!
Came here for Sunday brunch with a girlfriend and had the best time. Ordered the spiced apple cider spritz and was so good. Accidentally knocked my glass off the table and it shattered and the waitress was so kind and understanding. Also there was some confusion about my friends order and the bartender brought out a free shot to remedy the situation. Hospitality done right!

This spot has made the “YES” list. We had the steerage burger and charbroiled oysters ( bourbon Adobo and garlic parmesan) . Everything was amazing. It is an intimate setting with table and bar seating. There are no “kid menus” so keep that in mind if you have little ones. I shared the burger with my 5 year old and he was happy. He ate all of the Cajun Fries!!! My 12 year old devoured his burger and fries! You have to come during happy hour for some great cocktails. The oysters are available all day ( they have cooked and raw options). I would say age appropriate for 12 and older. Great for a brunch /dinner date or just a night out with friends/family.

If I could give the service 6 stars I would. We stumbled across this place while adventuring Brooklyn. The venue was almost fully packed out and the woman running the floor by herself absolutely killed it. Nobody was missed.
The food was also phenomenal, so well priced and came out quickly.
Be warned! The Bloody Mary is delicious, but certainly packed a punch.

What a great place to stumble across on a cold winter’s night. I had the beef stew and cornbread—perfect! Great southern flair to the menu, executed beautifully. Oyster starter was fantastic. Service and ambiance were warm and inviting.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Plenty of seating on a Friday for brunch & pet friendly! We started off with the Tar Heel latte which absolutely uniquely delicious- so cozy! The hushpuppies were perfectly doughy! The pancake was huge & soo tasty! Fries were perfection! The Bloody Mary featured an oyster & has the perfect spice! Great beer on tap too! Great atmosphere, food & drinks. The owner is from the South and it shows in the authenticity of their menu & specials!

Really cute little bar/ restaurant right off the beaten path in greenpoint. I called ahead and asked if they were dog friendly. They said yes as long as the dog is quiet and well behaved. We went for breakfast and got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit as well as the shrimp biscuit. Both were so good. Biscuit was nice and fluffy and buttery and the shrimp gravy was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Searched for the best bloody mary in the area on a Saturday and the googles recommended this little gem. The regular bloody was amazing with perfect horseradish spice. Miles the bartender and all other things, along with our other server, were so welcoming. Miles was a death metal music aficionado who was a funny kind person. I never give reviews but this place was amazing. The food was incredible the chef at this place is sooo talented…from the south. We had his homemade sage breakfast sausage and the salmon/hashbrown dish with a jammy chilled egg and the best relish on it. One of the highlights of our trip to Brooklyn.

This is a really great little spot. It’s one of the only restaurants I’ve tried in the city that can give Bubby’s a run for their money for breakfast. Amazing scratch breakfast cooking, delicious biscuits, pancakes, hand formed sausage patties with the perfect amount of sear/char. Eggs cooked perfectly, I got mine over medium. I love that they do the same”McDonald’s” style hash-browns, perfectly hot snd crispy, perfect for mopping up your eggs or gravy.
In this day and age, $25 for a breakfast in the city is pretty standard, but this spot is nothing but standard. I’m really glad we found it, we were in the neighborhood and needed a brunch spot close by.
It’s pretty small inside and probably fits 30 people max. They have a nice bar with brunch, cocktails, and the food came out quick. I like the nautical theme, they had a cool map on the wall that was just NYC waterways. A nice little touch.
Waitstaff friendly and efficient. Will be back for sure.
