Normal wait time for a brunch place on Sunday. Good food and drinks. Place has a limited amount of tables so the wait was around an hour placing our names down on the list at 11. Worth the wait in my opinion.

Great service and even better food. The best happy hour in the neighborhood with $1 oysters and great deals on cocktails. Charbroiled bourbon oysters are a must!

Alright, y'all, let me tell you 'bout this place that's like a warm hug from the South. It's got that down-home charm that makes you feel right at home.First things first, the grub is legit Southern goodness. I'm talkin' finger-lickin', soul-satisfyin' kinda food. The owner is like a perfectionist wizard in the kitchen, making sure every bite screams Southern authenticity. Now, the crew? They're a bunch of hardworking sweethearts. Seriously, you'll feel like you're chattin' with old pals. They make sure you're comfy and well-fed, just like you're part of the family. And the vibe? Cozy meets classy – the perfect combo. It's the kinda joint where you can kick back, enjoy your meal, and soak in those laid-back Southern vibes.I can't stress this enough – go check it out. If you're into delicious Southern eats, friendly faces, and a chill atmosphere, this spot's your new go-to. No regrets, just good times and even better food. You won't be disappointed, I promise!

As a North Carolinian, Stowaway is a little slice of home for me. From the southern food to the extremely friendly and inviting staff, this cozy small little place excels in southern food and hospitality! Expect a small wait for brunch, but it’s worth it :)

If I could give more than five stars, I WOULD! Best biscuits I've ever had, everything is made to order FRESH! So while the wait for your food might be longer than other places, it is so incredibly worth it. The service was fabulous and it's so cozy and charming inside! The entire vibe matches the menu and the freshness of the food. A little farmhouse in Greenpoint I simply couldn't recommend more.

Nothing to add that everyone else hasn't already. It's a tiny place that fills up on the weekends. I'd go on a weekday and it's pretty quiet. The biscuits are like 3000 calories and worth every single one. Great comfort food, especially since LIC/Greenpoint is lacking in that department. 10/10

We came on a Saturday at around noon and got seated at 1:30pm. They make this food FRESH. The quality of the food is great, but be prepared to wait. The restaurant is small and seats only around 25 people. Our food took like an hour to come out and our waiters were apologetic but were kind of just like: it'll come out when it's ready. I'd recommend coming on a weekday and getting the pancake and the chicken thigh! The biscuit is a bit dry but delicious. The clam chowder was outstanding but a brunch special. Salad also decent but eh not worth the hour wait.
