Made a reservation online for last night at 7:30pm, travelled from far in the cold just to get to the door looking at a closed restaurant!!!! due to maintenance as said the notice on the door. Very unacceptable and unprofessional!!!. My birthday dinner expectations were ruined.

This place was closed down. I went to the restaurant on 11/11/23, to find a sign reading "closed down for maintenance" posted on the glass doors and windows. Looking through the windows it appeared as if the place was shut down for quite a while. From what I could see, the place was very dusty inside. Please update your portal to not allow for reservations to be set.
Omg I went here .. the best thing is the mimosas literally eat before you come. The porridge is legit oatmeal donot get I came all the way from the Bronx I was soooo disappointed. Then I had the Ackee rolls it’s legit one roll cut in half drenched in oil.. the best part was my server she accommodated us so good with no issue because the food was so bad smh. The best thing on the menu is the jerk pizza I’m telling you.. & I have kidney stones so drenched out in oil dishes? I definitely didnot eat.. smh hopefully it gets better

I heard good things about this restaurant so I thought I'd take a chance on their brunch but man was I disappointed. Their options were slim. So everyone on the table got mainly apps. I wanted the j*** flatbread but they were out. So I settled for the akee salt fish roll but it was meh. I ordered some wings just to eat something filling. My cousin got some mushroom app but it came out cold and wasn't very good either. The music was hella loud but I guess I should expect that from a Caribbean brunch by now. The service was as good as it could be because there was just one poor guy working the entire floor. So of course the food came out cold or late. Why aren't there any other servers or bussers helping him? Poor guy was just trying to keep up. Yea over all I won't be going back.
The food and drinks were enjoyable. Friendly and attentive staff. However, I ordered a round of 5-shots for my friends and I, which cost more than the bill for 2 people for food. Definitely the cost of a drink each for the shots.
I was under the impression that this was a plant based restaurant, I did not know meat would be an option as well; that's what I gathered from your instagram. The restaurant also did not really resemble the photos and videos I saw. The doors were open and it was very cold. I felt a little sick when I ordered the mango j*** wings, I thought it was vegan, I almost ate them. I was also very disappointed that there was no more macaroni. There were 2 things that weren't available that I tried to order. Overall, the service was great, but the food was not what I expected.
Few people on a Thursday night, but great food! An upscale spin on Carribean food all guests within our party enjoyed. They also were very accommodating when it came to our dietary interests.

I came to this restaurant for a birthday brunch and I am sorry to say that it was disappointing. The Atmosphere -In spite of the cute outside area, there was a sort of tacky energy inside. We sat at the table with the high chairs. This place reminded me of an event hall for a sweet sixteen birthday party. The chairs gave off major tack vibes. Given the lights by the bar, I was surprised this wasn't a hookah lounge. The decorations felt rushed, but what really caught my eye was the mismatched green carpet above the bar.The Service :Everyone was friendly and attentive.Food:We got a variety of appetizers that were pretty good, enough to share. As for the entrees, oh man, they were disappointing. Normally, my friends will eat everything, but this was the first time they barely touched their meals. There was nothing edible about the shrimp and grits. There was no seasoning in the shrimp, they were just charred. The grits were layered with cheese that tasted like a combination of American Kraft cheese and Velveta cheese. There was nothing special about the chicken and waffles. There was more beauty to the sweet plantain waffle than to its taste. It was bland and not worth the price. To say the least I would not return, I'm still salty that our bill was so high for barely touching the food. I want my money back.Update 7/30: I contacted Stush on 7/18 following their *public* request for more info, but they could not be reached for further comment.

My experience at Stush Restaurant NYC was overall not a pleasant one. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. However, the service was not what I expected. The wait time after being seated was extremely long, and it took over an hour for the drinks we ordered. The fish was overcooked and extremely hard. Some of the food I selected from the pre-fix menu was unavailable for order, which was very disappointing. The ambiance is not what I expected. however, my friends and I enjoyed ourselves, despite everything else. Thanks to the DJ, he turned the night around; he was attentive to our needs and music choice. Shout out to the Dj for making the experience memorable and enjoyable.
Someone recommended this place. Beautiful ambiance, very nice staff. Everything I ordered was on point tasty and delicious. My only concern is the slow service and it’s not the waiter fault. My second drink took along time maybe during busy hours have two bartenders. Thank you for a delicious meal. Will definitely visit again.

The service and the ambiance is great. The Guyanese manager is awesome and all of the service is great including bussers. I really loved the atmosphere the music and vibe. The only negative was the brunch food definitely needs work. I wish the food matched how great everything else was but it wasn’t great. I would love to come back for dinner and see how that is. But besides the food, it was great.

Drinks and appetizers were good. Meal took a while coming out but waiter checked on us multiple times which I appreciated alot. Unfortunately my meal was dry and sides were cold. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere/ for pics and video, it was also clean. They played good music. I actually would try going again.

The food was cold and was not as described in the photos. Chicken and waffles you get a half of a chicken cutlet for $26. That's ridiculous and the wings were not seasoned, guacamole was good but plaintin chips were either hard or soggy from touching the plate. Grits was cold and cheese was not even melted
