My friends and I came here for a Sunday brunch. Arrived around 3:30 for the 90 minute unlimited brunch. It’s great that you can choose different packages and not everyone at your table is required to get the same package (but must get a package). I ordered the 40 dollar upgraded package which included frozen and well drinks. I enjoyed the hennycolata and the guava margarita as well as the guava bellini. The drinks were pretty good, not too watered down at all which was great.
For food I ordered the shrimp and grits which came with chopped bacon. It was pretty good, the shrimp were well pronounced in the dish but the grits were somewhat missing, my friend’s side of grits looked more plentiful and cheesy than mine. The sauce was creamy and flavorful. I tried one of my friend’s biscuits and it wasn’t that tasty, on the dryer side with an odd texture in the mouth. Though overall the food wasn’t bad.
Ambiance- great music, we enjoyed the selection for the most part. Would give the music a 7/10. The table behind us was super loud but they ended up leaving halfway through our meal.
Service- our waiter was wonderful and she kept the drinks flowing.
Overall, I think the value was okay. Came out to around 73 each pretty typical for a bottomless brunch. They accept multiple cards.
I look forward to returning sometime

A Bitter Experiment at "Sweet Science"
I recently visited Sweet Science for brunch, hoping for a well-balanced experience, but unfortunately, this experiment in dining went completely wrong.
From the moment we walked in, the only thing truly "sweet" was the energy of the DJ, who had the bar area alive with music and celebration. The hospitality, however, was anything but scientific—our server, Isaac, skipped the basics of service, offering no welcome, no recommendations, and no introduction to the menu. Instead, we were met with a robotic “Are you ready to order?” as if we had walked into a cafeteria instead of a sit-down establishment.
The drinks? A failed formula. The rum punch tasted like bargain-bin Kool-Aid, completely lacking the rich, fruity depth that defines a proper Caribbean cocktail. My Uncle Nearest Old Fashioned was so overloaded with orange bitters that it looked like it had been exposed to radioactive oranges. When I pointed this out, the server’s solution was to “just add more whiskey.” A laughable suggestion, considering the drink was already unbalanced. The second attempt was slightly better, but still far from a successful result.
The food was equally disastrous. My steak and eggs were a chewy, under-seasoned disappointment, and the honey biscuit—if you could even call it that—was so dense it could have doubled as a self-defense weapon. My friend’s chicken and waffles suffered a similar fate; the chicken looked burnt from being fried in old grease, making it as unappealing as it was inedible.
To top it all off, the check came with an automatic 20% gratuity, presumably for the DJ—because it certainly wasn’t earned by the kitchen or our server. While I respect that service industry workers need to be paid, forcing gratuity on such a subpar experience felt more like an added penalty for enduring the meal.
Sweet Science may have a great atmosphere, but when it comes to food, drinks, and service, they need to head back to the lab—because this formula is completely off.

Food was dry, tough, and tasteless. You'd have to be drunk to enjoy this food

Credit where it’s due. The food was great! The eggs Benedict and brunch Mac & Cheese were incredible. The service was quite slow and pretty indifferent. We went on a Sunday around 1:00 pm and there was a DJ playing R&B at nightclub volumes. Not that I disliked the music (it was quite good) it just felt out of place for 1:00 pm on a Sunday afternoon in a regular restaurant. Overall 4/5, would love to come again at a time where there was no DJ

After passing by many times, I have finally had the opportunity to go to Sweet Science. The ambience was soo welcoming and enjoyable. The hostess was friendly and attentive to both myself and my cousin. The food was extremely delicious (jerk chicken quesadilla and fries with pineapple magarita). I would definitely return to this spot. P.S: make sure you try their hot sauce which is ?

Nice place to hangout
Our department had a fantastic dinner party, thanks to Sweet Science. Nicole arranged a wonderful setup and package for us, all at a competitive price. When we arrived, we had our own section, perfect for mingling without disturbing other diners.
The food? Simply amazing. The portion sizes were more than generous, and every dish came out fresh and hot. We had plenty of options: Fried Chicken Fried Rice (my favorite), Mac & Cheese, Cajun Fries, and Carolina Wings—each one was delicious.
There was also a DJ playing great dance tracks and sing-alongs, keeping everyone energized throughout the night. Everything went exceptionally well, and we're grateful for the memorable experience Sweet Science provided. Thanks, Nicole!
