Truly an experience! We did the date special for 2 which included a glass of Sake, miso soup then a small plate, an appetizer, a dessert and a 10 piece omakase curated by the chef/owner for 2 all for 200 dollars! An unbelievable deal and an even cooler experience. Fair warning, you can not be a picky eater for this experience and I would recommend ordering a la carte if you are not willing to try different things! Everything was timed perfectly, the food was so fresh and at the perfect temperature. The sushi rice was so delicious and the staff was so attentive and kind. This was a great find and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much for the experience we truly enjoyed it!

Throughout my five years of visiting, Taiki has been very consistent at having top quality fish, excellent dishes, great cocktail and sake selection, and perfect service. The atmosphere is very cozy and everyone, including chef Taiki, is welcoming. Already wondering when I can visit again.
We went for dinner and 3 of us ordered the Omakase. The quality of the fish was great. It would have been a nice, chill evening were it not for the rudeness of our server. They were snobby, quick to interrupt and clear the table with food left on the dish. Seemed annoyed and condescending if we had any questions re the menu. It was a real drag. The restaurant is cozy and has the potential of a regular place to frequent but we all decided we won't be back so that kind of treatment.

Discovered this place super close to me in Boerum Hill! It's tucked away, but what it lacks on the outside it makes up for on the inside. The restaurant is beautiful with a sushi bar where you can see your food being made. The omakase is also super cheap depending on what you want. They also get seasonal and fresh fish that they have special tastings of, which we really enjoyed. Overall, a great and affordable (for the quality) sushi spot in the neighborhood.

Chef/sushi staff are clowns. Waiters do their best. Don’t spend $200 for no reason please BK, help people that really need it. Go next door “rice&miso” same quality/produce/kitchen for $6.00: much better, much original, much simpler.

Delicious, high quality sushi experience! We fell into this place while exploring Cobble Hill and wow, what a find. Every bite was refined and the sushi chefs were mad cool too.All the details were so on point, the miso soup so good, charred romaine practically melted in my mouth. And the fish was super tasty. When I asked the chef how to pronounce the name of the restaurant, he told me that it was his name! Taiki the man was super hilarious, quick with a smile and a joke. Drinking beer while preparing the food, the whole space was filled with good times and positive energy. Great place
10 piece omakase experience was overrated. Fish was scaly, stringy, and unappetizing. Service was terrible, server would drop the food on our table and not say a word. Very overpriced for the quality of fish, have had much better experiences in the city at half the price. Do not recommend.

Excellent sashimi. On the expensive side but the quality is worth it. The edamame has twist - really

Had an amazing meal and will add this to a monthly rotation for sure. Ask for the Ocean Hand Roll. The chef (who is also the owner) will know.
