Throughout my five years of visiting, Taiki has been very consistent at having top quality fish, excellent dishes, great cocktail and sake selection, and perfect service. The atmosphere is very cozy and everyone, including chef Taiki, is welcoming. Already wondering when I can visit again.
Discovered this place super close to me in Boerum Hill! It's tucked away, but what it lacks on the outside it makes up for on the inside. The restaurant is beautiful with a sushi bar where you can see your food being made. The omakase is also super cheap depending on what you want. They also get seasonal and fresh fish that they have special tastings of, which we really enjoyed. Overall, a great and affordable (for the quality) sushi spot in the neighborhood.

Truly an experience! We did the date special for 2 which included a glass of Sake, miso soup then a small plate, an appetizer, a dessert and a 10 piece omakase curated by the chef/owner for 2 all for 200 dollars! An unbelievable deal and an even cooler experience.
