Good service, friendly staff.
Food was mostly good. The spicy dip (acili ezme) was excellent. Sis-kebap and calamari were also good.
The liver (ciger tava) wasn't great. The cheese pide had tomatoes and sesame seeds, which I didn't expect. It should be a classic cheese pide unless they ask. The rice pudding wasn't very good either.
The place was okay, nothing special.
I'd go back for the good service and the spicy dip. Just ask about the pide before ordering.
Parking: Parking wasn't too bad for Brooklyn. I found a spot two blocks away.

Everything was fine except for the food. All of it was just not good; the kunefe was swimming in syrup and not cheesy or crispy, the kebabs lukewarm (the sultan kebab was swimming in babaganoush and way oversauced). Even the bread was room temperature and tasteless. Disappointing, especially if you're a fan of Turkish food.

I didn’t really liked my meal which was falafel. It tasted like floury and was not crispy at all. Maybe other meals are better

Ordered simple for lunch: humus, lentil soup and grilled calamari. Very well cooked and delicious. One of the better humus tasted. Will visit again for other dishes

My colleague and I at work ordered different dishes from this restaurant. It would be one thing if just one person didn’t like it, but everyone was disappointed. There was no taste. We couldn’t even finish our food because it looked like a dish but was actually impossible to eat. I hope they change their chef or something. But I can’t recommend this place.

Last night was a complete disappointment, We ordered lahmacun for starters, then mixed grill and kunefe for dessert. I went there on the recommendation of my friends, the food was average but the waitress’s attitude, demeanor and behavior towards us wasn’t nice, I don't know what the waitress’s problem was exactly, I don't know if she was unhappy with the place where she works but I wish I hadn’t experienced this.

Fresh, high quality food with great service and nice atmosphere.
I was with my Turkish girlfriend and we enjoyed a lot the plate. The portion were big, delicious and not extremely expensive for New York. I recommend it :)

The food was 8/10 but the presentation is a solid 10/10, I loved the way they layered the tomatoes on my plate. Good location and ample parking around.

Tava was amazing! The food was delicious and the service was seamless. We sat outside and really enjoyed our brunch with friends!

Lamb Gyro (available on weekend) was great. The shaved lamb hit the spot and the portion was generous. Rice also was quite satisfying. I appreciate that their house bread is served fairly warm and is seasoned. Went well with the hummus.

Very welcoming, gracious, respectful service. I had lamb sauté with peppers and mushrooms and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the Turkish white wine, Cankaya. House made baklava for dessert.

I was tricked by the high Google rating and ended up taking my family to Tava. Service was way below average; we ordered meze plate and there were only 7-8 small pide pieces for 4 people. I had to ask 2 more times for additional pide pieces. The food were below average: the salad next to doner was old and the rice was very mushy. I don’t know how a cook can let that rice leave the kitchen and the servers serve it to the customer. The paper around the wrapped lamb gyro was covered with oil so we had difficulty handling the food that is supposed to be eaten like a sandwich. We only ate the meze plate and some doner meat and returned the rest of the food untouched. The servers didn’t bother asking about the food. Overall, to me, Tava is at the bottom of the Turkish restaurants in Brooklyn in terms of food and serving quality. The prices are also not bargain.
