Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Tried the ezme appetizer (medium heat but cool refreshing herby delight) with a glass of Turkish rosé, and ordered the lamb shish kebab for my main course. When the server asked what temperature I preferred for the lamb, I said whatever the chef recommends…it was phenomenal. Tender, wildly flavorful, and worked so well with the salad, buttery rice and pine nuts, and another glass of the rosé! My husband had the chicken adana kebab which was also delicious but not as good as my lamb. We couldn’t help ourselves from ordering dessert, since I’m physically incapable of saying no to baklava. He tried the almond pudding which was quite tasty with a great consistency but my three small baklava pieces were warm and sweet perfection. My only regret is not trying some coffee. Service was great, our water glasses were constantly being refilled, and it was pleasantly cool inside on a 95 degree day in the city. I wish we lived closer because I would eat here regularly. Thanks for a top tier dining experience!

3rd time year this year! Great food (always get the mixed app plate), nice staff, honest prices and I always leave feeling full and happy. Brought my Turkish friend here too and she loved it as well ☺️

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME AT TAVA… THE FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL AND A GOOD PRICE AND GOOD PORTION…EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! . THE BATHROOM WAS CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

I had homesick and needed to find something similar to my mother’s food : TAVA was the place for that ! The staff is welcoming and the service was very good. The food was amazing. I will come back ASAP !

Without question, one of the best meals I’ve had living in Park Slope for 4 years.
Everything was incredibly fresh, and the portions were a great size to share as a family meal. Highly recommend the Lamb (Fri/Sat), the mixed app plate, the falafel, the babaganoush, and the Lahmacun. All were amazing. The grape leaves were fantastic too. Cannot speak highly enough of the food, kicking ourselves for not going sooner. Our new favorite in the neighborhood.

After hangover. This lovely place, really took care of it, by the lunch special, chicken soup and kofte & happy hour dirty martinis $10 , save the day. Was a blessing, all creditcs to my blondie who found the this turksih gem, , love you!!!
