Bought the fresh spagetti and the clam sauce was delicious im seeing these bad reviews on here from people i dont know why but i finally found a new butcher that has everything
The sandwiches and paninis are more expensive than other places, but you do get it back in quantity and quality. My favorite is the soppressata, capicola and mozzarella, which is all made out of true sausage and authentic (not Sorrento) mozzarella. And the fresh pasta is fantastic.
I requested to replace the turkey in the FDNY with chicken cutlet but they just added it to the sandwich. Not complaining about this. Overall it was a very good sandwich. Chicken cutlet could have been a bit more friend and crispy but that’s just how I like it. The mozzarella slice is incredibly thick but in terms of the bread it’s a little too spongey.

While some items may be pricier than at a local grocery store, the quality justifies the cost. The Godfather sandwich is a must-try, and desserts like the 7 layer cookies and tiramisu are delicious. Despite occasional inconsistencies in food quality, the overall experience at Russo's is worth a visit for a satisfying meal.
