HIDDEN GEM!! Had the best night on a double date, delicious food - the mac n cheese and oxtail are bangin! They make their own playlists and we were grooving along the whole time. Service was excellent, PLEASE support this restaurant. One of the few Black Owned spots in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood and it deserves all the love!

This is the smallest $12 plate I have ever gotten. Yes I ordered a small plate but the side of plantain is 3 slices, the average Jamaican restaurant gives you 2 for free with your meal. This was the least flavorful jerk chicken I have ever had, not sure if it as watered down due to the neighborhood but it taste like nothing. The carrot and cabbage slaw was really tasty but that was it. The veggie patty was also good but I got the last one at 7pm, sorry to the people that come for the rest of the night.

I was thrilled to try this new Jamaican spot in Brooklyn, but unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. The jerk chicken was incredibly tough and inedible, the rice lacked flavor, and the Mac & cheese tasted like it was straight from a frozen package. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated that I paid $22 for a meal I couldn't enjoy. Despite my disappointing experience, I hope the restaurant can improve and reach its full potential. For now, I regret to say that this wasn't a great introduction to their cuisine.

Great Customer service with a wonderful ambiance. However the food was the most disgusting food I've ever had, the Macaroni Pie tasted like the box of Kraft Mac & Cheese . The curry goat meat was tough and salty, the cabbage and carrots was overpowering. I wouldn't even feed this to a homeless dog in need of food. I've learned that Jamaican restaurants when their nice and have good service the food socks but when they are rude and mean the food always comes out delicious ?. Just my thoughts

I've had different meals, the ackee and salt fish with fritters for brunch, the week before for dinner I had curry goat. I've had the peas soup and I had the chicken soup. I've tried many restaurants around here and I'm telling you Taylormade is definitely living up to its name. Not greasy, very easy and nicely put together. The owner is very kind and tge works are amazing. Sharissa is amazing and understanding, ask her you don't understand she will explain. Marlon also. I will not go anywhere else. This is my stop. I'm a very good cook when I'm at home so I know good food.

Kid-friendliness: Brought our baby, lots of room for strollers and chill atmosphere.

New location - kids friendly! They just moved from their Classon location to Greene Ave. Jerk chicken was tasty, and our 9-months old loved the plantains.

I ordered a large jerk chicken dinner and got a large pan of rice and peas with a small portion of chicken and a hand full of cabbage and chopped carrots. I am staying with Buff Patty.

I am so happy I came in. The oxtails were so tender and the Mac salad was perfect. I ordered a medium, which was on the smaller size. However this is a dine in restaurant, I wasn't expecting mounds of gravy everywhere. It was perfectly portioned and saved me a trip to flatbush or an off day on Fulton. I can't wait to come back.
