Walked past here to check out other places but ended up being drawn here. The decor is very bright and attractive. It was good to visualize the staff and owner making the dishes from scratch in their open kitchen. I was advised to try the butter chicken bowl for my first visit and it did not disappoint. The chicken was very flavor and tender. The portion was generous, ended up taking the rest home and having it for lunch the following day. Already bookmarked this place to try the lamb dishes (it looked so delicious) when i'm in the area again for the future

Food is absolutely delicious. This place does a great job combining complementary flavors and textures into their bowls for a knockout of a meal. The decor of the place is so homey and welcoming, and I love that you can buy ingredients there too!

This is some of the best food in the world. Fresh, beautiful, delicious and authentic. They offer a wonderful variety of options and all of the flavors compliment each other. The folks working there are the kindest and friendliest people and treat you like family, making sure your meal is perfection. Of all the great food in NYC - Taza Mkt shines brightest.

I ordered chicken masala with half rice and salad and cauliflower as a vegetable. It was really good and the food is fresh. I forgot to take a pic before I started eating. 😋

My husband and I tried this spot for the first time today and we LOVED it! The food is fantastic and the service is wonderful. The kind woman who helped us was so lovely and even offered to let us try things before building our bowl. We will definitely be back!

This food is off the charts—I haven’t tasted Indian home cooking like this in ages! Everything’s insanely fresh! Just look for the upside-down colorful umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and sprint to the counter like your taste buds depend on it!

Was working over here and stopped to get lunch. Thought this would a run of the mill food court spot, but instead had delicious food met with the best service. The person working was so kind and really made me enjoy my experience.

Fire as hell!!!!!! I’m Indian and Indian food in Brooklyn is not it. I’ve prolly wasted so much money on trying different spots to be dissapointed every single time. But this is good!!! A unique twist on flavors for sure and the moment I ate the dal & the spinach I knew a real Indian made it lmfao. Please support!!!!!! I’ll be back!

The best indian food in America! So fresh, tasty, and simply the best homecooking you'll find anywhere in Brooklyn. Located in the heart of Sunset Park/Industry. It's a gem! Highly Recommend!

This place is an absolute gem! Build your own delectable bowl of Indian favorites? Yes please! The Punjabi butter chicken was flavorful and the saag paneer was well spiced. The pickled beets & sweet mango style chutney were wonderful additions to the bowl and made for a truly enjoyable meal. I also had the pleasure of trying the coconut channa masala which was incredible. Highly recommend Taza Mkt and will be back!

Food smelled like toxic chemicals or harsh cleaning products. Didn’t taste good either. Overpriced bad food.
