Great addition to the neighborhood
I stumbled upon Tera Mera in Brooklyn not expecting much, but was so happily surprised by its cozy, homey vibe and real Bombay flavors. It’s genuinely hard to find authentic Bombay-style food in the city, so I’m really glad I found this gem.
I ordered the butter chicken, veggie toastie and aam panna. One bite of the toastie actually brought tears to my eyes…it tasted just like the street-style sandwiches from Bombay. The aam panna was refreshing and perfect.
The owner was also incredibly sweet. She brought me pani puri because, honestly, no trip to Bombay is complete without it!
I highly recommend this place if you’re craving real Bombay flavors and warm hospitality. I didn’t even get to take photos because I was too busy eating!!
Amazing Indian food with great flavor
pork vindaloo sandwich is the best version of bbq pulled pork I've ever had. Friendly service.
Great new addition to the neighborhood!
A casual Indian cafe that also sells Indian groceries, specialty products and spices which have been hard to find in the area.
They have a wonderful backyard.
Yummy iced chai.
Best chicken momos I've had! Everything is made from scratch with a nice thin wrapper, a flavorful filling and zippy sauce on the side.
We loved the masala omelet roti too! The paratha wrapper was light and tender.
Good potato samosa and they had a heirloom tomato toast with a spiced yogurt on delicious ACQ bread with pea shoots as a special.
They will be adding more things to the menu and opening longer hours once they get their booze going.
Delicious “clean” Indian food with some of the same flavor profiles as traditional American Indian food but also with more variety and complicated taste profiles. Great addition to the neighborhood!
Gorgeous and delicious! Such a treat to have in the neighborhood. I highly recommend the masala chai it’s perfect and real deal.
I stopped in for a quick lunch date. The food was so delicious and flavorful. Really tasty, healthy and freshly cooked. Atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. Service was fast. I encourage you to try this place for really good Indian food.

Walked past here to check out other places but ended up being drawn here. The decor is very bright and attractive. It was good to visualize the staff and owner making the dishes from scratch in their open kitchen. I was advised to try the butter chicken bowl for my first visit and it did not disappoint. The chicken was very flavor and tender. The portion was generous, ended up taking the rest home and having it for lunch the following day. Already bookmarked this place to try the lamb dishes (it looked so delicious) when i'm in the area again for the future

This is some of the best food in the world. Fresh, beautiful, delicious and authentic. They offer a wonderful variety of options and all of the flavors compliment each other. The folks working there are the kindest and friendliest people and treat you like family, making sure your meal is perfection. Of all the great food in NYC - Taza Mkt shines brightest.

I ordered chicken masala with half rice and salad and cauliflower as a vegetable. It was really good and the food is fresh. I forgot to take a pic before I started eating. 😋

My husband and I tried this spot for the first time today and we LOVED it! The food is fantastic and the service is wonderful. The kind woman who helped us was so lovely and even offered to let us try things before building our bowl. We will definitely be back!

This food is off the charts—I haven’t tasted Indian home cooking like this in ages! Everything’s insanely fresh! Just look for the upside-down colorful umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and sprint to the counter like your taste buds depend on it!

Was working over here and stopped to get lunch. Thought this would a run of the mill food court spot, but instead had delicious food met with the best service. The person working was so kind and really made me enjoy my experience.
