I absolutely love their taro milk tea. They use real taro purée. It’s very creamy and delicious. I also love the big space of this location. And the staff here is always nice and friendly. What a hidden gem in Brooklyn!

Honestly the best boba in bay ridge with the best service. We got their signature taro root and the strawberry milk. Both was delicious.Their customer service is also top notch, replacing a drink after dropping it and exploding in the store. Their immediate response and reply was great.Atmosphere is also super fun with board games and other things to do. The space is large enough to not feel cramped and Their decor is super inviting and attractive !

I had the chance to try Tea and Milk at two Yelp events so when I happened to be in the area, I wanted to try some again along with the Banh mi sandwich. It was empty when I came in (around 12pm) except for one other person that was picking up an order. I got the brown sugar milk tea with herbal jelly and their signature cream. The sandwich was tasty but a tad pricey. My one issue was with the service. Most boba tea shops just give you the drink and you put your straw in and go about your business. At Tea and Milk, you have to shake it up before you insert the straw. I made a mistake and punctured the top before shaking it. One employee (who was at the first Yelp event), saw my mistake and told me that it needs to be shaken first--he offered to reseal it so I could shake it before adding the straw. I would just have to wait a few minutes because he was working on my sandwich. While I was waiting, another employee looked at my drink and saw that I didn't shake it up first. She didn't offer to reseal it, instead, she went to the employee who was making my sandwich and snickered and whispered while looking at my drink. He looked at my drink and whispered back (probably telling her that he knows and will reseal it). After that, she offers to reseal it. I gave it to her and then she asked if I wanted it remade? I said no--why would I want it remade? There was nothing wrong with it, it just needed a new seal so I could shake it. That's wasting product for no real reason. Nobody is perfect, I didn't see what was funny--she needs to work on her professionalism. She seems childish. The other employee was professional--that's why I'm still going to give four stars. She can take some tips from him.

These Boba Teas are unbelie-bubble They opened up a new location in Bay Ridge & it has a super cute interior with spacious seating available. Their company prides itself on using real, fresh ingredients, including fruits & taro, with a commitment to making fresh boba every day. Loved the Thai Tea & Brown Sugar Oolong with signature cream! Community is at their core, reflected in customer events & charitable donations to organizations like Planned Parenthood. The menu features the 'Happy Drink,' where proceeds support the Trevor Project. They cater to diverse preferences & offer a non-caffeinated option, Strawberry Milk, appealing to younger customers & those who avoid caffeine. If you're hungry, then definitely pick up a Banh-Mi to try! I'm so glad they added Chicken Banh-Mi to the menu & the best part is that it's Halal!

Located close to the R subway line at Bay ridge Ave, this outlet is really convenient for the people who want to have quick bubble tea/ drink. The staff is pretty friendly over here and I was told the menu is inspired from all the Asian flavors. The ambiance is really great too with good amount of seating and it's pretty bright inside with the lightings they have. A good place to sit and do the office work!I was recommended the Chelsea drink which is strawberry milk boba tea, the strawberry added were fresh ones which is really great over syrup or artificial flavoring whereas they added the oat milk which always tastes the best while also adding tapioca at the bottom! Initially the staff forgot to add tapioca but they quickly rectified it by making another drink for me... That was really sweet and kind of them! The drink was really refreshing while the tapioca pearls were really good too! These people also have some sandwiches available.. definitely would look to try em out next time!Overall an awesome place and a great local business! If you ever come across this review and walk past this place then feel free to support them.. they have some real capability to make it big!

I went to Tea and Milk for Yelp Elite . And wow, I never even knew it existed. Tea and Milk had a lot of seating and I liked how spacious it was. The decor for LNY was also super cute. I got the strawberry matcha and it was so good. You could tell the strawbery puree was freshly made. The matcha flavor wasn't that strong but I didn't mind too much. We ended up getting two more drinks. My aunt got the lychee green tea. The tea was very strong, which I appreciated since most tea shops make their fruit teas overwhelmingly sweet. We also did ended up getting a bahn mi, and the pork was very flavorful and packed with all the works. The bread was also very nice and soft.

We met up with our friends at Tea and Milk at this location in Brooklyn. It's a lovely space to hang out. They have nice decors and great drinks and sandwiches. I love how they have board games as well. I normally am not a huge milk tea / boba tea person. I am lactose intolerant. However, a lot of boba places nowadays do offer alternative milk like soy, almond or oat milk. So I got a hot matcha milk tea with oat milk with additional boboa or herbal jellies. I got the latter with regular sugar. It tasted good. I finished it within 15 minutes. Our friends are regulars here because they lived 5 mins away. They loved their passion fruit drinks. One small advice - I wish their tables were put together to accommodate four people sit-downs. We would have sat down to dine with sandwiches and play a bit of games with our friends. Nevertheless, this was a very nice boboa tea experience - thanks to Yelp and Milk and Tea. It gave us a reason to venture out to Brooklyn and explore the neighborhood and local restaurants on a snowy Saturday.

I came to this restaurant because of a Yelp Elite Week Promotion and I'm so glad I can add a new restaurant to my go-to in the area! This restaurant is conveniently located within steps of the R train, B9 bus and B64 bus! From the outside it looks like a small place but once you enter, the place was pretty big. There were tons of seating inside, free Wi-Fi and outlets by every table! They also have a good selection of board games for guests as well. The restaurant was so clean and spotless. I love how they decorated for the Lunar New Year as well! I ordered the barbeque pork banh mi and the pastéis de nata. The barbeque pork banh mi was so delicious! There aren't much banh mi restaurants around and this was so satisfying! The pork was flavorful, grilled to perfection and very tender! The added pickled daikon and carrot was also good! The sandwich was also huge and packed with a lot of pork! So worth it! The pastéis de nata, Portuguese egg tart, was the perfect dessert to end my meal! The crust was delicious, the texture was so smooth and it wasn't too sweet. Make sure you eat it warm! The workers would be more than happy to heat it up for you. The staff was super nice and patient! She explained everything so well and made sure I got what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back to try the other items on the menu!

I visited this location to try my first ever Boba tea!!! For starters I went on a Thursday afternoon around 12pm and there were seats available, but it quickly filled up around 1. It is such a relaxing and aesthetically pleasing environment. I was able to enjoy my bubble tea and read my book. The employees were super friendly and helpful with choosing my first tea! I had strawberry lychee green tea bubble tea. I asked for less gummies at the bottom and I think it was still a lot. It was flavorful and not too sweet. I can't wait to return to just drink tea and hang out reading my book or taking care of some work. I love small local businesses !

Tea and Milk is located right next block to a high school. The interior is clean and modern. I ordered a lavender black milk tea with sweet cream and boba and the Happy Drink, which you can select from 2 of 3 fruit purées (strawberry, mango, and passionfruit). I picked passionfruit and the server recommended strawberry as the second purée as it will go better with passionfruit. I noticed the menu didn't have any of the typical fruit jelly toppings, only boba, herbal jelly or aloe vera so I added aloe vera jelly to my drink as well. While I was waiting for my drinks to be made, the owner I assumed explained a bit about why they don't offer fruit jelly toppings like other bubble tea places. He explained that they make their toppings in-house and the usually fruit jelly toppings contain a lot of artificial flavoring and colors. And this is what sets Tea and Milk apart from other bubble tea chains -- they pride themselves with only top quality ingredients with no artificial flavors. I did appreciate him explaining this to me but I did read a bit about the business before I went. The Happy drink was made with real fruit purée. At first sip, it was a bit too sour but I got used to the flavor afterwards. The drink was fruity and refreshing. I really liked their aloe vera jelly! It's really different from the store brought type texture and better. The lavender black milk tea is seeped from real tea leaves and lavender. I noticed right away the strong lavender taste in the tea -- very fragrant and floral. The boba was very soft and chewy. However, the first sip and every sip after that was super sweet. The drink was too sweet for me. I am able to adjust the sweetness but even at 100% sugar, this is too sweet. I usually get 100% sugar at other boba spots and the sweetness is nowhere near this sweet. The sweetness might've been from the sweet cream though. I probably won't get this drink next time. Overall, I really appreciate the authenticity of this boba spot and their customer service engagement. However, the drinks were sort of a miss for me this time. But next time I will know to adjust the sugar levels.

Was strolling by and happened to see this place, decided to check it out. As I entered it had a pleasant decor with a long hallway design. Server was very friendly and recommended a drink to me ( strawberry mango) with kychee. I liked it but it wasn't a "wow" i love it factor for me, with this drink at least. It looked better then it tasted. Flavors weren't all there as i am used to in other bubble tea spots. What i enjoyed was that it had a natural taste and wasn't super sweet. Good spot to try if your in the area.
