I ordered delivery through Doordash and read all the glowing reviews both here and on Yelp. I'm genuinely shocked at the positive reviews. The best part of the meal was the mixed appetizers. My partner got drunken noodles that were just okay. I got tofu pad Thai that was edible but not good. It was sickly sweet (like maybe made with ketchup instead of tamarind sauce) as opposed to a balance between sweet and sour. I'm no expert but I think you can do better for Thai takeout in this neighborhood (Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill etc.).

Everything was fine - nice and cheap food

Excellent lunch specials for $10 (chicken, tofu, veggie. Other meat choices like seafood are extra). Choice of entre plus side of drink (water, soda, veg salad). $1.50 on top for fried egg but it's really scrambled. $2 add for viet coffee (veryyy CREAMY But nice bitter flavor - recommend)Will eat here again if around!

Just found this place on caviar and I am thrilled - everything I have eaten from there has been delicious. So far have tried the Khao Soy, spicy basil fried rice, spring rolls, green curry. Best neighborhood Thai food

We had a superb time in this spot. We enjoyed the nice environment and the meals. The waiters are very personal. I’m content we ultimately managed to visit this spot.

We threw out most of our takeout food. It’s cheaper than others, and the food quality matches the price :( the Tom kah contained very large pieces of pepper and onion (why?!) but no detectable lemongrass or galangal and tasted mostly like sour coconut broth.Beware the pad see ew contains meat, even though it is not stated. It was pretty gross and tasted like burnt oil :((

Authentic good Thai food! Such a hidden gem. I wish I found this neighborhood spot sooner. Drunken noodles and sweet sausage fried rice were delicious and had generous portions. Will definitely order from here again.

Have ordered from Lum Dee twice now and really enjoyed it both times. My Girlfriend and I are big into Khao Soi and we’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants in NYC including some of the more famous spots in Jackson Heights and Brooklyn. Lum Dee has the best Khao Soi we have had in NYC! The broth is very thick and flavorful. Much more so than any other we have had.We will continue to order this awesome dish from Lum Dee and look toward to trying other dishes. Thanks!

Best Thai in the area by far. Have never ordered something I disliked. Just go roulette on the menu and have fun
