The wine service was unusual, no list, you are asked what you would like and choices would be presented for your approval. No prices, either, I dint look at the check carefully so I don't know what I paid for 2 glasses but based on what we ate, probably $50 or so.
We had a wonderful dinner at Terre! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a warm and cozy atmosphere, authentic and delicious food, and a great wine program. The service was perfect - just enough attention but not overbearing - with a really interesting wine program. No bottles, just BTG. You tell the somm what you like and he will taste you on wines from different regions until you find the one you like. I chose a Garganega from northern Italy...
One of our favorites in Brooklyn. Love eating "out back". Pasta is wonderful and homemade, and the wines all come from small wineries in Italy and our always changing. Service is very attentive and friendly with the wait staff being very passionate about the entire dining experience.
