The BEST Thai I’ve had in New York. I had an issue with a pickup order recently, & I reached out to them on instagram. Their customer service went above & beyond to make it right. Food is so good, & love that you can customize the pad thai to exclude egg.

OVERPRICED NO SERVICE TASTES MID
Not seated for 5 minutes. Order not taken for 20 minutes. No one ever refilled our water. Waited 25 minutes between appetizer and main course. It’s a very small restaurant and they are not busy tonight! They might just have forgotten our orders.
Portion size for everything is TINY! Taste of everything is MID! Tastes like when college diner is doing an Asian food day. Not properly seasoned and anything that’s stir fried tastes like they were made in a slow cooker!!!!

The place is good overall, but given the high rating and price, I was expecting a bit more. Maybe we didn’t order enough—some of the appetizers looked great, but we didn’t have room to try them. My partner can’t eat spicy food, so we chose dishes without the chili symbol, but they still turned out to be a bit spicy. We ordered the beef curry—the flavor was nice, but the meat was tough to chew. The Thai tea was too sweet and the tea flavor wasn’t strong enough. Mango sticky rice was good.

A tad bit expensive for a Thai restaurant but food is very good (consistent) and the ambiance/decor extremely cool. We got Khao Soi and Tom Yum and shared a green curry with chicken. All excellent. Recommended.

Had a great dinner here with three other people a couple weeks ago. The food is really good and the drinks were also great and the service was great as well. I would highly recommend the pad. See you and the pad Thai and the crispy chicken was also excellent. This is a great date spot or a great spot to go with friendsfor Thai food in Williamsburg.

AM-Thai is a cozy little spot. It can feel a bit small, but once you sit down, order a craft Thai beer, and enjoy good conversation with your friend, you’ll quickly forget about that.
I went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, so I’d recommend making a reservation. We ordered the Papaya Salad and Crying Tiger Wagyu Beef—such a perfect combination! (Tip: if you’re adventurous, ask for it “Thai spicy” 🌶️).
Honestly, those two dishes would have been enough for two people, but I couldn’t resist ordering the Khao Soi with Crispy Pork. My friend and I happily ended the night in a food coma 🥹.
The service was great—attentive without being overbearing, and very friendly.
I’d definitely love to come back again and bring more friends to help share the food 😆.
