My family went to the Bell House for a Mother’s Day Storytelling event. We had a great time and the staff—especially Phillip—was incredibly helpful and made it a wonderful experience
Such an amazing experience! Phillip was the nicest bouncer ever—seriously made our night. The Moth was so well-hosted and full of incredible energy. What a beautifully run and inspiring event!
Underground feel- super nice staff- clean but old bathrooms- chill vibe but cold inside- bring a coat- The Moth is the performance- soo much fun!
We had an amazing time here and Phillip was a big part of that. He was so welcoming, friendly, and made sure we had a great seat. We are from San Diego, first time in Brooklyn, and really enjoyed this venue and comedians. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town. Thanks, Phillip. You’re the best!
Came to see Jordan Klepper, who was amazing as always! I had a margarita before the show that was ok, but not worth the $$. Overall, the vibe was really great and from the food I saw and that my family ate, it was good and everyone was happy afterwards. Great value for the show and a wonderful evening out!
Had an amazing time at That’s Messed Up: An SVU Podcast, but the best part was the hospitality we were shown by Phillip. He immediately jumped in to help my friends and I find seating together as the open floor plan was already filling up, and showed us nothing but kindness and professionalism. S/o to Phillip for making our night!
Best comedy venue in NYC

philip is the best! had a great time here
Nice DJ with percussionists, Nice crowd diversity
Traveled two hours from NYC and purchased food for the train ride back cause we would be leaving the show late, staff made us throw away $30 worth of food. Even asked if we could leave the bags in the front with the staff, but nope. Overpriced, loud, and rude.
Rustic. Don't expect modern. But this place has character and is a fun venue. Came here for a comedy show and it was a great small, intimate setting. Lots of personality in this old girl. Expect typical high city prices for drinks though.
We saw Sean McLoughlin last night and he was hilarious and the venue was awesome. It’s a great space to see a show and the staff are very friendly and accommodating, especially Phillip who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I asked if they sold merch because I was cold, they don’t, so he adjusted the air conditioner. We will definitely be back.
