Some dishes were fantastic while others weren’t. The summer squash was drowning in Beurre Blanc and rather gross. The fried crab was soggy. The pork shoulder was delicious. The service was overall good but slow. Their wine selection is one of my favorite things about the experiences. Overall I found the four horsemen to be mid for this type of restaurant and expectation.
Drawn here by the hype of it being James Murphy's wine bar like many others. Got on the waitlist for a 2 seater, took about 1.5hr.

It's a tight little spot and sitting at the bar isn't the most comfortable, you're sharing a lot of elbow space with some of the broiest rich kids of WBurg. My only critique.

The food was amazing. I mean, the bread...good god, a throw away at most places - a masterpiece here. Wish I had saved...
The four horsemen has to be one of the best dining experiences I’ve been to this year. Everything was exquisite from the presentation to the music. But all the credit has to go to our Bartender Will; his knowledge of wine and bitters and amaro is renowned with some of the best in the game. Sit at the bar and thank me later
