Came here after every single place nearby was shut due to the cold. Hesitant because of previous review but came anyways.
Food was really good and cheap. I got falafel over rice w pita, girlfriend got lamb over rice. the lamb was just fine. the falafel? SO GOOD. Actually some if the most delicious falafel I've had in a while. Its not the big very green soft crumbly kind. its brownish and delishish.
Man was super nice and blessed up on the white sauce. The rice was made w real whole spices in it. complex delish. Very good. I think the cleaning products comment might be because of the use of coriander..? maybe one of those cilantro no-no freaks.

This place prices like its 2018 and tastes on par with all my fave halal trucks. will return. thank uou for beibg open in 4 defree weather sir

Food tasted like it was reheated and cooked over cleaning products. Took a few bits and dumped it. 3 bites exact to confirm I wasn’t tasting something else. Wasted $9 on this stale and expired food.

Anyone who leaves a bad review is out of their mind. As far as I’m concerned this is the best hallal truck in New York City. The meat is high quality and fresh, portion sizes are good, and though they did raise the prices recently (like most places) it’s still very affordable. They also let you customize your own salad. The hot sauce is HOT! Favorite dish: combo over rice with white sauce and hot sauce. I like to add red onions, tomatoes, pickles, jalapeƱos, and black olives to my salad.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options with no cross contamination, but they do primarily focus on meat dishes.

Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free if you omit pita bread

Hands down the best Chicken over rIce around the block. The portion is small but the taste and quality beats the portion. What makes me say that, The rice is so aromatic and well cooked and the tahini sauce is way good other than other food carts in the block .The Guy is bit under his own world but. he get the job done , you will get exactly what you order .

I would not recommend anyone to go there the service is bad when I asked him to add sauce he didn’t and salad is missing. I didn’t like the Taste of food which sauce would add it more flavor.Go at your own risk!!!!The guy doesn’t even listen!!!!

They were better back in the day. Now they give a very small portion of food & they're more expensive than the other trucks in the area. The food is bland & I regret spending money here when there are many other halal spots in the area.
