We hosted a wedding reception at The Turks Inn last weekend. The entire experience was fabulous. Alex, the event coordinator, was professional, organized, and lovely to work with. The food, staff, and atmosphere cannot be beat! Highly recommend

We hosted our wedding party at Turks Inn and let me tell you, it was the best wedding ever. Every single guest told me it was their most fun wedding as a guest. Alex is an amazing planner and she is so easy to work with. The food was amazing, as it always is at Turks, and the vibe is just so incredible. We come for dinners and shows all the time and this just took that experience and turned it up a notch. Love this place so much 💕

Damn, review adjustment. This place is amazing but I was trying to get hold of them for DAYS to see about making a reservation for my sibling’s birthday dinner tonight. After never hearing back from anyone we decided to just try to walk in. Then I pick them and a bunch of their friends up and drive 45 minutes here to find out it’s closed for a private event tonight. If you tell everyone to email for reservations, please check your email! It would have taken two minutes to reply and let us know it was closed tonight and saved a long disappointing trip on my sibling’s birthday.

We got there at 5pm when they opened. The restaurant was a little chilly and dark but comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The food was so delicious. We would definitely return. We had the relish dips (focaccia and beer pretzel) assortment, lamb rib, beer salad, muscles, side rice, pot of bergamot tea. We highly recommend The Turk's Inn.

This place is amazing. The staff was gracious with us, and handled an aggressively intolerant and entitled group of customers. They comp’ed our drinks for ensuring the experience. 10/10 would return.

I really wanted to love this place and, in many ways, I did. The food was exceptional: the lamb was tender and flavorful, the cheese curds were delicious, and the drinks were perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was unique as well — dimly lit, with a deep red, Middle Eastern-inspired aesthetic that created an intimate and vibrant setting.

Unfortunately, what began as a wonderful evening took an unexpected and distressing turn. Members of our group, several of whom are part of the LGBTQ+ community, were unexpectedly confronted by another guest, who escalated the situation by physically throwing a glass of water at one of our party. While we were admittedly lively (as many groups are in New York restaurants), we did not engage in any behavior or language intended to offend.

Rather than taking time to fully understand what had occurred or to address the clear act of aggression from the other patron, management chose to ask our entire group to leave and to box up our meals. This was deeply disappointing, especially given that we had been genuinely enjoying the food and atmosphere up to that point.

It’s unfortunate that an otherwise exceptional culinary experience was overshadowed by the handling of this incident. I sincerely hope that, in the future, the restaurant’s management will adopt a more balanced and thoughtful approach to such situations- one that ensures all guests feel safe, heard, and treated with fairness.

Our recent dining experience at Turks inn was profoundly disappointing, highlighted by a failure in both service and value. Despite the dining room being notably half-empty, our server was excessively slow and displayed a curt, unhelpful, and frankly rude demeanor when we inquired about specials or recommendations. This poor service compounded the frustration over the mediocre food, which was, at best, uninspired and certainly not commensurate with the exorbitant pricing; a clear sign of poor value was that my significant leftovers were not worth taking home and were ultimately discarded. Given the combination of inattentive and rude staff, unimpressive food, and unjustifiable cost, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

So I want to give this place five stars becauae the service is AMAZING, the atmosphere is so unique and trippy, but the food just missed the mark. This was pur second visit. We ordered all appetizers this time around: the lamb chop, cheese curds, and mussels. So, I discovered later that that combination of food was very bad in my stomach. The lamb chops also had a very strange texture. Neither my girl friend nor I could figure out what was going on with it, if it was a marinade or if it was just really super fatty or what. While well seasoned, it just wasn't appetizing. Also, I have discovered that I am not a fan of the hot honey craze, which unfortunately accompanied the cheese curds. The mussels were great! But again all of those things combined to create a memorable experience later that no one ever wants to have.

Honestly it was a bit disappointing cuz we had such an amazing time our first time there and this our second time was also hella fun just not as delicious. Best advice is to go with the entrees and maybe pick just one of the appetizers.

Still worth the visit and will go back again.

Super romantic but also a good place for a small group. Music is fantastic and only enjoyed by the food and service.

Turk's Inn was delightful. 10 out of 10, I will be back. I have no notes! I am from Wisconsin originally and I loved the vibes. Get the relish tray. See you soon Turk's! Everyone else should go too!

We absolutely loved Turk’s Inn! Such a unique history and the mix of Turkish food and Wisconsin staples was very cute. The fan favorite was the Blue Cheese Cloud. Would highly recommend this spot for a unique dinner that is anything but cookie cutter.

Hibiscus mocktail was so incredibly good. We ordered the charred broccolini and cauliflower dish (wouldn’t recommend the French fries). Food was good and Turkish atmosphere was fun.
