I’d give this place a solid 3.5. It’s got this charming, small-town whimsy that feels totally unexpected for the neighborhood. The interior nails it—a mix of Turkish decor and trinkets blended with a kind of mid-century Midwestern vibe. The way the seating is arranged, paired with the friendly service, makes it feel lively and fun while still cozy enough to enjoy time with your group.
The appetizer platter was the star of the night. The bread was light but perfectly toasted, and the dips and seasoned olives were delicious. Unfortunately, the mains didn’t hold up. The steak was juicy, but it was absolutely swimming in garlic butter, which made it hard to finish despite the generous portion. The lamb ribs were the biggest disappointment—they were so gamey that it overwhelmed everything else, and any seasoning they used was barely noticeable. The rice we ordered on the side was just okay—nothing that stood out or made me want to come back for it.
Honestly, I’d come back for drinks and appetizers because the vibe is great, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for dinner here again.

Cool bar and scene but the food is awful. Overcooked lamb kebab that was tough and unseasoned. Charred Cornish hen that was dry and flavorless. Eggplant schnitzel that was crispy but uninteresting. It’s like they forgot to season or spice anything. Really surprisingly bad.
Only things good were the bitter salad and broccolini.

I've had döner all around the world, I've never had any this bad. It was severely undercooked and the flavor was revolting.

Alexis make the atmosphere as if you are eating at home. It's hard to find this type of comfort in a late night restaurant in New York but the Turks Inn is a new staple that I can't get enough of. The ambiance, the food from chef Josh, the attention to detail are what I cherish this establishment and I look forward to bringing my loved ones here for years to come.

Great sound, great atmosphere, staff was on point, on top of every situation. I only attended a concert at the venue, and I did not eat at the establishment.

Drinks were strong, server was attentive and friendly, atmosphere is average for the area. The fish was good, lamb was decent, some sauces were a little too minty but overall good. The Wedge potatoes were undercooked on the inside despite the outside looking crispy. The rice pilaf was a bit bland and underseasoned. You may want to ask for them well done if you order the fish and chips. Call in advanced and make a reservation and see what specials are available. I was an octopus kebab in someone's review which I had my heart set on but it wasn't available when I arrived unfortunately. Street parking is limited but if you arrive for an early dinner you should be able to get a spot relatively close

Love love loved this place. Food to die for, whimsical decor and details, wonderful service. Timeless and cared for. Everything I look for in a moderately upscale night out. The Sultan room upstairs is equally well attended to. Danced the twist to the DJ on the roof then some great latin bands in the live room. You people have created an oasis of pleasure. Will extol The Turk’s Inn to all my friends!

My friends and I got the Steak and frites, cheese curds, the hen and the lamb ribs. They were worth *every single penny*. Truly was having a religious experience eating this food. We are planning and budgeting for monthly trips here. Do yourself a favor and relax into the delicious flavor of everything they offer.

Everything about this experience was LOVELY. My server, chill yet attentive. The vibes inside are stunning yet intimate. The CHEESE CURDS? I dont believe I've ever eaten anything more delicious. We stumbled across when everything closed on a Tuesday night. What a gem!

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always excellent. There is a lot of thought that goes into their menu and flavor combinations. I always look forward to going here.
