I happened to walk past smorgasburg at the memorial just in time for a pre-lunch snack and was immediately drawn to the Vaylalo tent. In typical fashion I couldn't settle on just one, so I was elated to see that they offered a sampler, giving me the opportunity to try one of everything. Váyalo Cocina is delicious and has many gluten free and vegetarian options. They have a good variety of arepas. If you are indecisive, like me, there is an option to choose 4 different mini arepitas so that you can get a taste of everything. My favorite was the shredded chicken with avocado salad. I would not order the one filled with cheese again, it was rather bland compared to all of the others which were extremely flavorful.
