Weird vibe with pop music and very slow service. The waitress gave us the table right next to the toilet although place was half empty the whole time. Food was ok but not worth it.

Everything was fine at ViaRoma but they need ventilation for cooking. You can smell the cooking of food throughout the restaurant. I definitely smell like food leaving the establishment.
We stumbled upon this restaurant after the restaurant we had initially chosen had a 1 hour wait for a table. Looking for a spot to rest after a long time at the Botanical Gardens, we found this cute spot. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted, and the service stayed excellent the entire time we were there. The decor is a cute mismash of various styles but the whole interior feels very outdoorsy. It reminded me a bit of an Italian courtyard. I imagine its wonderful during the warmer months. The food itself was reasonably priced and absolutely fantastic, with the fresh Butternut Squash ravioli with Black Truffle being absolutely incredible for $18. I would go back if I was in the neighborhood again!

Lovely place but service on Saturday night is slow. It took 30 minutes to receive our chips and guacamole appetizer. The best part of the seafood pasta was the homemade pasta- seafood was overcooked. Burger was tasty. Service is extremely pleasant.
This spot is a hidden gem.. had the chicken and waffles ! So amazing. During brunch they keep the bottomless drinks flowing. The food is such good quality. The staff is so attentive and responsive. The vibe here is spot on !! I almost dont wanna recommend them cause I don't want everyone to know how awesome this place is ???.. no ...come here and have a good time with your friends ??

I had the most beautiful meal and time at Via Roma- I had the eggs Benedict and we shared the French toast. It was all delicious. The server was generous, attentive and lovely. The best little hidden brunch Gem in Crown Heights. Highly recommended!

I went there to eat out with my teenage daughter and we both had a great time. The food and service were both amazing and I loved that it was fairly priced and was very filling. A lot of places claim to cook authentic Italian food but sometimes full short in terms of flavor. But not this place. We had the shrimp scampi linguini and spicy rigatoni with chicken and the black truffle Flatbreadwithh pesto. The flavors were amazing. I also recommend the flight of passion drink or the strawberry blonde Mocktail. Although we were full we had to try their creme brulee which is my fave. I rate the food and service a 10/10.

Tasty food and wonderful service
Amazing food and amazing service. The ambience was inviting and fun. We had the mint ginger beer mock tail, raspberry martini, eggs bene with guac, eggs Neptune and a s'mores dessert. Good mocktails are hard to find and this one was so good! The meal came with a salad and the house made dressing was divine. The egg was perfectly poached and I'm an egg snob. The dessert was also made from scratch. It's evident that they value quality, precision and customer service. 10/10 recommend.
As someone who is from New Orleans, I consider myself a very difficult critic. It’s not often in which I feel compelled to write a review although, the cuisine at via Roma is phenomenal and is deserving of my time. I had the crabcakes eggs Benedict with the fried risotto. The crab cake were extremely fresh and the owner stated he purchases the crab directly from Maine, which you could clearly tast. The fried risotto balls were something I’ve never tried before. The crunchy outside with the creamy insides melting within your mouth, had me lost for words. If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking it out. If you are a local I suggest making this restaurant your regular spot. The atmosphere was perfect for chatting with a friends or a romantic date. I will most definitely be back and highly anticipate trying more items fr the menu.

I tried VIARoma for the first time today. What tempted me to come is how amazing all their food looks on social media. I was hoping that the food would taste as great as it looks. And god damn did it! One of the best meals I’ve ever had. 5/5 Stars - try this place!

Came here for brunch with friends after hearing about it from a friend. Loved the setting of this place, it felt cozy and inviting from the jump. I’m not big on pasta but I had the shrimp scampi and it exceeded expectations. Really good stuff. The drinks were delicious and our server was helpful and gracious throughout our meal. Looks like it would be a great spot for a romantic dinner as well. Will definitely be back!
