This jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage situation was on another level. To witness a man so passionate about his jerk before it even hits your plate is different — and you can taste it. The chicken was cooked to perfection, seasoned just right with the perfect amount of heat, and it fell right off the bone. The rice and peas were some of the best I’ve ever had — moist, flavorful, and the perfect balance to the chicken. The veggies were a standout too: sautéed just enough to keep that perfect bite, with a unique blend of cabbage, corn, and string beans that tied it all together. And the music? It adds to the vibes and rounds out the whole experience. I’ll definitely be back… the jerk salmon is calling me.

My family and I decided to spend the afternoon in Brooklyn, which is a legit excursion when you’re coming from Harlem (New Yorkers know what I’m talking about). Craving some jerk chicken, we tried our luck with a Google search and landed here—and omg, we hit the jackpot! We were greeted by the owner of the shop, Brods, who illuminated great vibes and kindness. While we were discussing the menu, the intense aroma of jerk chicken cooking outside on these massive drums was intoxicating! Brods could sense how hungry I was, so he gave me a sample of the chicken, hot off the grill, and wow! The chicken was juicy, the skin was crispy, perfectly charred, and packed with homemade jerk seasoning down to the bone! So don’t walk, run here before this place goes viral!

Wow...I'm very impressed. I was a little hesitant this being my first time, but the food was absolutely delicious. The jerk chicken was flavorful, moist, and tasted great. The rice and peas was on point and the cabbage was fabulous. No shade but usually when I get cabbage from certain spots it's bland and lacks flavors. Wadadli Jerk's cabbage was bright and so flavorful. Truly impressed and I will definitely be back again.

Restaurantji Recommends
Food was bland, burnt, and unseasoned. Everything did not feel fresh and felt like it had been sitting out all day. The mac and cheese was cheese soup. Barely edible. Very misleading because the restaurant was highly rated and was crowded upon picking up the meal.
