I’ve been to this restaurant twice, and while the food is generally good—some dishes, like the fried chicken, stand out—the overall dining experience leaves much to be desired. Both times, our food arrived within minutes of ordering, but the temperature of the dishes was less than ideal, which made it feel rushed. Additionally, the tables are packed very closely together, making it uncomfortable and not very enjoyable.

The service was another drawback; the servers seemed rushed and were not particularly friendly, which took away from the experience. Overall, while the food has its moments, I’d much rather go to Win Son for Taiwanese cuisine, as it offers better quality and a more pleasant dining atmosphere.

Beef noodle soup was not very good at all. Had take out……. Need to get something else to eat. Maybe there is a discrepancy between delivery and dine-in quality not sure?

The best homestyle Taiwanese food I’ve found in the neighborhood so far! The beef noodle soup and fried rice took me back to the comforting flavors of backstreet eateries from my college days.

Food 9/10
Solid Taiwanese food. 卤肉饭 was so gas and the portions were quite large too. The shrimp toast was also very unique, I liked the consistency of the shrimp inside paired with the crispy crunch of the exterior. The popcorn chicken was also quite a delight, with the right amount of seasoning that makes you want to keep on eating more.

Atmosphere 9/10
Plenty of natural lighting in the restaurant, with a good number of seats. I thought the menu was super cute too.

Service 9/10
Friendly!

We got to share the popcorn chicken, the crispy fried tofu, the tater tot dan bing, and the lo ba bang.

I REALLY enjoyed the popcorn chicken. The powdery crispy part on the outside and the chewiness on the inside are perfect; the sauce goes well with it too. The fried tofu was alright, not a big fan of the sauce so I like it by itself more. The tater tot dan bing gets filling fast but I like it. Quite a big portion. The lo ba bang is also good. The rice dish has a lot of flavor profiles in it. It’s a big stronger with the mustard taste. Definitely filling.

Really nice decorations and spatial area. The staff are really friendly, too.

Imaging when u drinking at the bar, and some bartender just keeping move ur glass without ask and permission… yeah, I was like huh? What u doing? Why r u keeping touch my glass??????

So I asked. She said she had to move the glass back on the napkin, so the water didn’t stain the counter………. I was like wut ???????????😂

Varnish your counter before call it “Bar” maybe????!

And maybe ask before touch other’s glass?

Try some bites and lose interesting and left.

The most terrible service I’ve ever experienced. The staff totally ignored customers, offered no greetings, and spoke in a very impolite manner. The food tasted even worse than at fast-food restaurants.

No hospitality whatsoever.

We were waiting in below zero temperatures 5min before it was open, and the restaurant staff closed the door in our face instead of letting us in.

Zero stars. Do not come here!

This Taiwanese restaurant has American fusion, and it tastes pretty good, but it's not traditional Taiwanese and the price is a bit expensive.

A+ dining experience. Very polite and friendly staff. All of our dishes were filled with incredible flavor combinations and were vastly different allowing us an opportunity to really "branch out". Will be returning at some point. Highly recommend.
