Really outstanding on all fronts. The food is consistenly fantastic, but what sets this place apart is that unlike a lot of these upscale trendy Chinese spots in Brooklyn it pays a lot of attention to service, and also to its wine list, which is sensational.
Came here for dinner, service was great but every dish we ordered was so salty. Very disappointed.
Great place to have a good meal with family/friends.
Some hits and misses.
Chicken wonton is worth trying, pretty unique flavours. Lu Ruo Fan (Braised Pork rice) tastes very authentic, really reminded me of home / Taiwanese Street food.
Green onion / Scallion pancake is nothing to write home about - unfortunately when they charge $9 for one I expect something more. Sesame noodles was a total miss. The primary flavour of this dish should really highlight the sesame paste. Instead there was a big mix of sour, salty and spicy which hugely overpowered the dish. Very disappointed with this one.
I'll definitely be back to try their brunch options as they seem a little more interesting, especially at the price point!
get the oyster omelette
Food was all very good and flavorful!
Came here late on a Thursday night and the place was empty, and I was able to try the place with no wait despite the hype. The food is good! I understand it’s small but Lots of small restaurants in nyc take reservations and I think they should start taking res. Food is good but not wait more than 30 min good in my opinion. Decent size portion for the rice dishes as well so I appreciate that. I don’t like how the menu said yuzu soda when it’s really sparkling water, that was annoying. I wanted something with flavor not flavored water. Scallion pancakes were great and chicken wontons were good but overpriced for that amount of wontons. Should be like 12-15 for 20+ dollars. Would go back for a casual evening dinner
Haven’t had my hair blown back in a restaurant in a long time … mission accomplished! Seriously though, when the team is firing this place is just stellar. Cannot recommend enough. Cucumbers, crab f/r & beef rolls… yummy! 🤟And fyi they’ve got some hidden gems in the wine list…
Sat at the bar and had incredibly lackluster service. Hospitality on the whole was missing, it felt like we were served by robots. In the end the check was unceremoniously dropped at our area without being asked if we wanted dessert or a digestif. The food was underwhelming, maybe we ordered wrong. The only bright note was pretty good spicy cocktail and one of the noodle entrees. We were both really excited to for our meal and left really disappointed.
Just excellent. Personal favorites were easily the chicken wontons and the marinated cucumbers. The huge ice cream at the end was pretty nice too. Super helpful and attentive staff. A strong recommend if you're in the area.

26$ for a main of greasy salty noodles with hardly any vegetables arriving cold 1:20 hours later - no thank you sir, I will not be doing that again!
Really good food tonight. Last time not as good but this time they really nailed it. Night and day difference from your usual Chinese so don’t expect anything like that. They have a cookbook if you want to see the ingredients, many not in usually well stocked chef’s pantry. Cocktails, wine and beer list all unusual, interesting change. Recommend zhajiangmian, clams and basil, eggplant, marinated cucumber. Also the one fried dough dessert is good. “Fly Head” sounds weird but is really good and tho unadvertised their signature dish. Greenhook gin good for a different martini. Jade dragon beer good different pils. Not cheap, Drinks + 2 smalls and 2 mains + 1 dessert split by 3 (plenty), just over 200 w tip. Can be crowded w wait but we got in no prob 6pm on a Wednesday. One more thing; for anyone obsessed w “authenticity” that is so not the point here. This is a couple of young modern chefs embarking on a new culinary adventure, reinventing Southeast Asian cooking. Atmosphere is typical 21stC Brooklyn, warm, comfortable, casual, not “super hip and trendy”. FYI buns /pancakes also avail at bakery across the street that is open bfast//lunch. They are good but a bit greasy and not the best of what is available here. Good place to go beyond your comfort zone.
Best restaurant in NYC!!!! I love this place!!!! Breakfast lunch dinner or delivery or dine in. Win Son Rules!!!
We had a birthday party here, and the service and food were absolutely impeccable. We had a great time and would definitely love to visit again!
Amazing Taiwanese restaurant. Everything we tried was delicious, and the drinks were great too. We had made a reservation for a very large group and they were very accommodating. Service was great. Vibe is fun and upscale, and it doesn’t feel cramped like a lot of other places!
