Had an awesome dining experience! Surprised more people don’t know about this place / that it wasn’t super crowded on a Wednesday night. Food was fabulous and chefs choice is a great deal. Also had a delicious hibiscus Agra Fresca drink. Highly recommend!

The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. I especially loved the creative twists on classic dishes. The staff here especially Petra truly cares about their guests. They were attentive, courteous, and polite.

This is my second time dining at Xixa - it did not disappoint! Exquisite menu and cocktails, great vibe and great service from Petra - knowledgeable, provided great recommendations and personable. Highly recommend the tasting menu and de-constructed cocktails. Haven’t found another spot like this in the city and can’t wait to go back.

Xixa in Williamsburg isn't just another Mexican restaurant – it's a vibrant culinary journey that'll have you plotting your return before you've finished your first mezcal cocktail.

Speaking of which, Xixa's mezcal concoctions are nothing short of magical, smoky elixirs that perfectly complement their menu. But the true showstopper? The fish tacos. These little bundles of joy are so fresh, you'd think the fish jumped straight from the sea onto your plate, pausing only to don a perfectly crispy coating.

While the food and drinks alone are worth the trip, it's Petra, a waitress extraordinaire, who transforms dinner into an unforgettable experience. This globetrotting polyglot doesn't just serve dishes; she curates a dining adventure.

With six languages at her disposal, Petra navigates cuisines and cultures as effortlessly as she pairs mezcal with mains. Her worldly wisdom translates into spot-on recommendations that'll have your taste buds doing a happy dance.

Petra's genuine care and attention to detail could make even the most jaded New Yorker feel like the guest of honor at a lively Mexican fiesta. Thanks to her, my evening at Xixa was more memorable than stumbling upon a hidden cenote in the Yucatán.

We came in last Thursday for dinner and drinks. The food was amazing and the service was great! The short rib in the green mole sauce was *chefs kiss* and Petra was very sweet and professional. Highly recommend!

The food and vibe is great but the chairs are so uncomfortable lol hate to knock for it but the tables have stiff metal seats and high tops with too tall stools

First off their menu looks allergy friendly but they are not. Everything is pre braised in canola oil and there was no way to ensure a fully safe meal for myself. I ended up trying to goat neck because it looked like the best option. It wasn’t very good and also ended up making me sick in the middle of the night. Not to mention the restaurant was so loud I couldn’t hear the person next to me.
