Best babka I’ve ever had, ohhhh my goodness. Best bakery I’ve been to in a long time, and I am bakery-obsessed. Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. Shoutout to Omri, a talented stop-motion artist working his last week, who was so warm and helpful to me.

Staff is always very friendly and also patient when my morning brain can't decide what I want. The pastries are all excellent! We particularly love the babka, cinnamon roll, and the olive bureka. They make a great dark hot chocolate. I enjoy all of their coffee drinks but I'm no connoisseur so take that in context. The shop is full of all kinds of cool collectibles and vintage tchotchkes which are pretty much all for sale which is a fun vibe and occasionally a good place for an eclectic gift. I still wish they had more than a pair of chairs for sitting inside.

got the babka and it hit perfectly after 10 miles into my long run. cute, laid-back space with solid coffee. small but cozy, and staff were super sweet. would return to try the sandwiches and more pastries. a nice break from the busier cafés nearby.

Not really a sit-down place because there are only two chairs, and in the morning the sun blasts you from the window, but this is very possibly the best ham and cheese croissant I've ever had! The staff were super friendly and the environment and atmosphere were very nice and clean and the cortado was excellent. I was visiting family because I live out of town but when I go back to Brooklyn I will absolutely be stopping by and trying the ridiculously rich looking Nutella babka!

Almost made the fatal mistake of ordering one piece of Nutella babka but the barista behind the counter came through with the upsell of a lifetime and told us we could buy a whole one. Thank gd for her because we would have lived a life of regret had we just gotten one. Now we just live with the regret that we didn’t order a cinnamon one too :,( thanks to the woman behind the counter who saved the day. We’re forever in your debt.

My friend and I ordered a piece of the Nutella dark chocolate babka and instantly felt regret for not ordering an entire babka. We hesitated because it seemed crazy to eat a whole babka - until the woman helping us said “it’s not that crazy”. She was absolutely correct. This babka is INSANE. Best I’ve ever had and I’ve had all the hits. My only regret now is that I didn’t order a cinnamon babka too
