Had oxtail, mac/cheese, yams, and strawberry cheesecake delivered to house last night. The food was excellent. The $4+ sliver of cheesecake was small enough to be used as a door stop in a Barbie Playhouse. C’mon TOS, lower the price, or increase the size. Besides the sliver, I enjoyed the meal, and I’ll definitely order again.

I waited over an hour for a fish sandwich-which they ran out of ingredients for. They did not give me a partial refund or anything on the house. When I got home I discovered the missing ingredients and my food was cold. The owner came out several times to ask her patrons what they ordered and she has a nasty attitude when questioned or challenged. I shouldn’t have waited and demanded my money back. They are not cut for the restaurant business.

ordered from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. My chicken was undercooked, and my food did not come as ordered. The restaurant manipulates the DoorDash system by listing items like cake and bread, but they never actually include them. When I called to address the issue—not even asking for a refund—the staff was incredibly rude. One person literally said, "Girl bye" and hung up on me, twice.
The food itself was a disaster. The chicken was burnt and lacked flavor, the macaroni and cheese was stale, the greens were dirty and unseasoned, and the dressing was absolutely terrible. I even requested gravy but didn’t receive it. Overall, this was a terrible experience.
What’s even more disappointing is that the reviews for this place consistently highlight similar issues, so I should have known better. I only gave it another chance because I was craving dressing, but that was a huge mistake. It’s a shame to see a business treat customers so rudely and serve such poor-quality food.
Ironically, I’ve always enjoyed their fried fish sandwich, which used to be delicious, but after this experience, I’m done. Thankfully, I was able to get my refund.

I finally found 🙌 a place where the food is actually good and makes me feel like I'm in Dallas TX. The soul food is delicious. The drinks taste so good. The atmosphere was welcoming. I'm definitely going back.
