We've been going there ever since it was in the Kmart plaza on Niagara Falls Blvd. Same excellent quality and the food is ALWAYS fresh. We love it there!

food tastes expired and made me feel severely unwell.
We decided to head here seeing they had crab legs and crawfish...we came all the way from canada... what a let down the crab barley ever got refilled and to be honest im not even mad it will stop people from getting sick... my husband went to eat a couple blue crabs and they smelt overpowering of amonia turned him rite off of eating. Not safe to eatđ the price woulda been perfect if the food was good but they did not have many options for non seafood eaters and for kids. No wet towels or wet wipes for your hands and our server was pretty snotty. Wont go back

Trust me on principleâAmherst Buffet deserves no stars. This place is a disgrace to food service. I canât believe they charge people for this atrocity. Iâve paid less at shadier joints and still gotten better quality.
Every âhotâ dish was cold or lukewarm. Their âspicyâ food tasted like boiled steak scraps. The sushi? Been sitting out way too longâwell past the health department limit. Thatâs a bacteria party waiting to happen.
Letâs talk about the MSG. The poisoning amount of MSG in this slop is unreal. Nothing even tastes like real foodâitâs like eating damp cardboard soaked in salt and chemicals. You leave feeling dizzy, bloated, and questioning your life choices.
To top it off, during my trip to the restroom I witnessed a man (if thatâs what weâre calling it) âwashâ his hands for half a secondâbarely touched the waterâthen wiped his filthy fingers on his pants and headed right back to the buffet line. I caught it on video and will be forwarding it to the health department.
The only redeeming thing about this dumpster fire was the waitress. She was kind, attentive, and clearly doing her best in a place that doesnât care. None of them wear name tagsâprobably so you canât hold anyone accountable.
Amherst Buffet, you should be ashamed. I donât care if you move towns or rename the businessâyouâll never see me or anyone I know walk through those doors again.
