Angeline's Bucatini Cacio e Pepe was delightfully peppery with a mix of ground peppercorns visible in the sauce- which as a result had a spicier taste than is the dish's norm. If you are looking for underseasoned pasta, stay home. This dish (and my partner's duck also) was quite an ample portion and if I were less of a glutton, I'd say an entree plus a dessert could be potentially enough food for folks coming out on a smaller budget.

We had a quick stop over in Buffalo, and a Google search lead us to Angeline. What a great find that was. Starting with a creative cocktail, and finishing with Affogto, the meal was perfect. The restaurant is in a restored home with many if the original architecture still evident. The service was top notch, and seemed very well orchestrated. We shared a meal of mussels, buccatini cacio e pepe, and Utica greens.

The veal saltimbocca was flavorful and well-prepared, though the side of pasta leaned a little plain. Cocktails were crafted with care, and the warm, softly lit dining room made the evening feel relaxed and steady.
