Love popping in when I'm in town. Very dog friendly on the patio (a rarity in Buffalo these days- I don't get it!!) and consistently good food. Good people and service. One of my local favorites!

Overpriced. Mediocre food. Charged a 20% included gratuity for party of 6. Never going back

Food tasted ok but everything was cold , The Management did offer to reheat our food but we were turned off and didn't want to wait

Stopped in because I was hungry, I couldn't figure out where to go and Colter Bay was right in front me. Had a few bites of food and thought it was good but once my hunger subsided a bit I realized I was eating s**** Probably a good spot if you wasted.

beef on weck with the 5 sing add-on is amazing. Always play really good music there. Totally cool atmosphere since the remodel about 4 years ago Literally feels like you are in a ski lodge. Everyone that works there is super cool.

Come here for drinks and to watch games, but I wouldn't recommend their food highly. Their wings are small and the French Onion Soup is overly salty.

I can't believe I've never been to colter bay until today; it has such a cozy and warm atmosphere. I got the nachos which were an appetizer but big enough for dinner and leftovers, they were delicious. The sandwiches my friends got looked great too. The beer list is extensive, the only con is wish they had a bigger cocktail list. I appreciate the vaccine card requirement too.

Highlights: Great beer selection from micro breweries to full beers. Food is very good and offers a great variety. Sports games are fun to watch here at the bar with great bar tenders that enjoy great conversation. Staff: Very attentative and very friendly. When to go: If you're looking for a Friday or Saturday night out it will get a packed so either go early or one hour before closing. Bills game are huge here due to great TV's and the atmosphere. Be sure to stop here for Bills Mafia on Sundays.

Haven't been here in awhile , and they've made some changes. I loved my lunch. So many local, imported and craft selections to try, and excellent service, recommendations. I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad and was pleasantly surprised with the enormous delicious Buffalo chicken breast leaning on my salad ! Very good. Great French onion. My companion enjoyed thier soup as well as pulled pork sandwich. I am glad to see this establishment maintaining that stand up Buffalo standard, and hope they still have one of the best Friday night happy hours around!

For all those who love freedom, DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS! They require you to show proof of vaccination just to enter! Please boycott this kind of un-American behavior!

Whew pretty poor service one and done. Ordered mixed drinks and they forgot to add the vodka when saying something to the bartender he got rude? Not rocket science just provide the appropriate drink for the appropriate price. So disappointed. PS the place was dead at midnight on a Saturday night I can see why.

My mom and her friend were visiting from the West Coast this past week and we had planned on walking somewhere for dinner in Allentown Friday night...but it started raining and they got a bit tired so we decided to do pick-up. The menu is smaller than a lot of other American style food places around Buffalo and that worked well for this particular situation. Both my mom and her friend chose the beef on weck and we were so glad! I really wanted them to try the local favorite since they've never been here, but I didn't want to pressure them...so it was really neat when they landed on it on their own. I ordered the patty melt, which used to be my go-to diner order when I was younger and my husband ordered the short rib melt. We also got an order of poutine to share since it isn't very common where they live. They went nuts for the beef on wecks. There was plenty of beef and it was cooked beautifully medium rare. The caraway and salt on the kimmelweck roll all fell off by the time the sandwiches were put together. But everything was very smartly packed. The sliced beef was in it's own little plastic baggy, which prevented a soggy bun; and the horseradish came on the side also. The au jus that was included for dipping came in a sturdy plastic container. They loved everything about them. I was a little disappointed in my patty melt. The patties seemed pre-formed and the quality and flavor of the meat wasn't great. The caramelized onions were nice, but the whole thing lacked seasoning. The special sauce for the sandwich tasted like an inexpensive bottled dressing, which is confusing. The sandwich wasn't awful or anything; I just expected it to be better. The sweet potato fries were delicious and a good deal for the $1 up-charge. They came with honey butter. This is our second time ordering take out from here and the experience was about the same. The food is okay enough, but there's nothing I'm dying to go back for.
