They have a great variety of breakfast sandwiches here and the baked bread selection is amazing. We always get a dozen pretzel and rosemary bagels to go and freeze them for later. They also have a nice selection of cream cheeses and other goodies like fresh eggs and pickled red onion in their cooler. Definitely recommend ordering online because there usually is a 20 min wait for sandwiches if you get there after 9am.

Awesome breads, just come early they sell out fast. I got the last load of sour dough at noon.

They have great food, and new baked goods to try. They are always out if bagels and pretzels around noonish though so if you want a bagel or pretzel you have to get here early. This is a small establishment with outdoor seating, but it is very hard to find a seat or feel comfortable standing when it is busy which it is frequently

I am such a fan of Breadhive Bakery & Cafe and have been since their early days at the local Farmer's Markets. I was delighted to return to their brick & mortar store/restaurant on Connecticut Street when I was in town around the holidays. Of course, I can't pass up a lox sandwich so I obviously ordered The Britney - lemon, scallion, & dill cream cheese, cucumber, onion, and smoked salmon - and it did not disappoint. The service was on point, even after a little hiccup regarding types of bagels available/inventory. I also thoroughly the hipster/community vibe including a Little Free Library of sorts as well as plenty of fun Breadhive merchandise. There's also cream cheese and other great accoutrements available for purchase. I will happily return to Breadhive again and again!

The food was delicious, the homemade pretzels were beyond expectation! We arrived a bit later in the day so they were out of bagels unfortunately. Everything was fantastic, the only thing that was an issue was seating and parking.

The sandwiches were delicious! The fillings were fresh and tasty. We had the Mariah, the Gwen, the Aaliyah and the Bjork. The sourdough bread was yummy! This would be a great place for students from D'Youville University to have a filling lunch.

FIRST OFF THEIR BREAKFAST BAGEL SANDWICH IS AMAZINGGGGGGGGG. I added jelly on my sausage and egg bagel. They have so many options to try from and also vegan/gluten free options. The wait time is the only issue but you are getting fresh bread and locally grown food so it is a A+++++. I love that this is another west side staple now. I am just waiting on my prince charming to come and enjoy long walks on the west side to grab bagels because this restaurant is such a lifetime type of location.

I get takeout here at least once a week and it's always a highlight of my day. Their bagels and sandwiches are the best around. Their coffee is great too. I've loved everything I've ever gotten from breadhive!

I had to review again because they just don't miss! Got the Aaliyah this time on a bagel and it was I've been trying to find a good bacon egg and cheese and this is probably my favorite. Everything cooked perfectly and the syrup adds the perfect layer to the flavor. Be forewarned that the wait times are usually long because it is a small place but it's worth it and remember you're supporting local! I usually order online and never had an issue.

Cute little shop and very friendly staff! Got a tub of veggie garden cream cheese. It taste as if popcorn had no air and was made into a cheese puff and then completely burnt and smoked. It's disgusting i don't know what they add to it .

Oh, why did we discover this place on our last morning in Buffalo? We would have been daily customers otherwise: the breakfast food we had was delicious. I had the best breakfast bagel ever here. The place is a cooperative and they just have things here spot on. Wish I were there now!
