From the moment I stepped onto the University at Buffalo campus, I knew there was something special about you.

No matter what kind of day I’m having, I know I can always count on you. When I’m exhausted after class, you’re there. When I’m starving and questioning every decision that led me to this point, you’re there. When I need a place to sit, eat, and forget about my problems for a little while, you’re always there.

You never judge me. You never ask too much of me. You simply open your doors and welcome me in.

Our relationship may seem simple to everyone else, but they don’t understand what we have. They don’t understand the comfort of knowing that, no matter how chaotic college gets, C3 will always be there waiting for me.

You have never let me down.

Through early mornings, long days, questionable meal choices, and everything in between, you have remained loyal. Consistent. Dependable.

Some people find love in another person. Some find it in a song, a hobby, or a place that feels like home.

I found mine in C3.

So thank you, C3, for always being there when I need you most. Thank you for the memories, the meals, and the countless moments of happiness you’ve given me.
