Haddock was small pieces and had a Cajun batter taste. Fries were tasteless and dry. Just not tasty at all. Low quality. Won't be back. They do not take credit cards. Did not like.

So I like real food even if I'm going out to eat I somewhat wanted to taste like home cooked food and let me tell you this restaurant restaurant use real cornmeal on the are fish shrimp and the portions are heavy The food is Good and they have been over here in our hood for the longest and we appreciate them being here go visit this restaurant the money you spend will be worth it tell them Miss Coco sent you
I've been going to Captain of the Sea for years. I always get the fried chicken(breaded) with fries although I have had the fish before. The chicken is my favorite. When it's good, it's really good like fresh, hot and crispy but there have been times where you could tell it wasn't as fresh and was fried a little too hard. Lately it's been good though. The fish is ok, nothing to brag about in my opinion. They have other seafood and usually an assortment of desserts in the case to pick from. Call ahead to order for sure so your food will be ready upon arrival, it's takeout only. Prices are definitely reasonable and cash only I believe

Got the haddock, fries and coleslaw .....I should ofJust minded my business but I seen it was open today. The dish was tough and flavorless, fries were decent, and the slaw felt like it was missing something. Very disappointed I could of spent my money on a Chipotle Quesadilla
