I came in here last Friday morning and ordered the roast beef which was absolutely fantastic but what was even more fantastic was the red haired girl behind the counter, she was incredibly friendly and helpful and recommended lots of fun things to do while I visit Buffalo!

Order the corned beef on a gluten-free roll. The corned beef was very juicy. It had a very nice flavor to it. It was not too fatty. The roll was gluten-free and served cold from the refrigerator. We were not sure since this was our first time there whether or not they toast the rolls. It was not offered so we assumed it wasn’t possible. When we were done we ordered chocolate shakes. They were good too. I would eat at this restaurant again. The pricing was reasonable. The restaurant was clean. The staff was knowledgeable.

The staff was amazing and food was great! Thank you for our 1st beef weck ever! We even took home a pound to share with the family. Honestly, it was a fun addition to exploring Buffalo! Thank you :)

Beautiful setting in a quaint neighborhood. Friendly, clean, my wife's handicapped, so it was easy getting in and out. Parked right out front.
The food was delicious! I'll go there more often. Highly recommended.

Always loved their food. Today's meatloaf tasted sour. I ended up paying $13 for 1 scoop mashed and corn

yesterday me and my sister were told to visit Charlies to try the famous beef on weck. upon entering a strong scent of urine was quite evident from a man pants half down taking up three seperate of the 5 available tables. it got so bad to where we decided to take our food to go as the smell wasnt worth eating in. workers were really helpful and kind when it came to came to describing the menu but the smell definitely wasnt worth the stay.

I stopped here (Elmwood St.) with my sister today for lunch…she got a carved turkey, I got a beef on Weck. Sides were Mac n cheese and glazed carrots. Glazed with what? They were undercooked and had nothing on them. The beef on Weck was gross because the bun was soggy. Turkey was dry! The Mac n cheese was way over cooked and mushy. Never again. I should have flushed that $34 down the toilet. The ladies working were nice tho.

The young lady at the counter was polite, knowledgeable, and skilled (I did not get her name). You can't go wrong with the classic Beef on Weck. It was delicious, and I could have added two sides for $4! The atmosphere is nice, and it was quiet enough to sit down and read. I would come again.
