Went here for the first time just to have a few drinks and dinner .. The bartenders were very welcoming. The moment we came in we sat at the bar. Natalie was the first bartender to greet us . They have lots of menu items to choose from a large cocktail list large beer and wine list and the service was amazing. The bartenders were very attentive to us and Natalie took care of us most of the time that we were there and her service was just absolutely amazing. They made really good dirty gin martinis for me and I also tried an espresso martini and it was delicious. We got the Mediterranean flatbread. It was so good and a steak sandwich and fries. Everything was cooked to our liking and the drinks and food were amazing along with the service and conversation Definitely a 10 out of 10 and I can’t believe this was my first time going here. I wish I would’ve found this place a lot sooner. It will now be one of my favorites. I can’t wait to come back and try more things. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

I have never experienced such rude staff. Take your business across the street and avoid these people that clearly hate their work

We had 3 people and they added an automatic gratuity of 20%. Food was good but it's unnecessary for an automatic tip on a small table. Made this place seem over expensive 😡

This is a cornerstone of the Allentown neighborhood and we always go back. Beef on weck is the real deal that always delivers. Great location and setting and even better Buffalo staples.

Colter Bay continues to be one of Buffalo’s gems. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and lively—whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or meeting friends. Their beer list is outstanding, with an ever-changing rotation that always offers something new alongside trusted favorites.

The food holds its own against the stellar drink selection. Thoughtful menu choices, generous portions, and dishes that are clearly made with care—everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and consistent. Service has always been warm and attentive - which makes the whole experience even better.

Colter Bay is the kind of place that works for both casual nights out and when you want something a little special. Easily one of the best go-to restaurants in Buffalo.

If it was just rating the beer & service it would be 5 stars. The rating comes down just because of the food. Allso would've been nice to have the sound on for the Thursday Night Fireball game but that's not the biggest thing - I get it, some people aren't watching the game.

The burger/fries were 3 stars, regular pub food but not great. But the real problem was the Nachos weren't worth it even being half price. If I had paid full price for them I would've sent them back. They had VERY LITTLE cheese, I'm talking 75% of the chips being BARE (?!). And if you're going to have nachos on the menu even at a bar, you just have to serve them with at least one salsa or just take them off the menu. A tiny amount of pico isn't going to cut it, especially when there's barely any cheese present.

Just eat before and come for the beer. I don't know if there are better sports bars in town with better food and/or with the sound on for the game, but I'd recommend trying!

The poutine with short rib is heaven in a bowl. Nice and quick service, only complaint is the benches on the booths were pretty uncomfortable and the only table options had stools with no backs. Overall great spot for very good eats!
