The best sushi and green tea I have had in quite a while. Only wish they plugged in the Christmas lights! Maybe next time.

This place is one of my favorite sushi spots. The pricing is fair, the employees are always so wonderful and kind, and the food never fails to exceed my expectations. And the sake selection is fantastic! Truly always a fulfilling experience coming here

Outstanding first impression, will return frequently. Dine-in experience was highlighted by easy atmosphere as well as incredibly kind and friendly staff.
Their vast menu has variety of options in every category, impressive, yet deliciously difficult to make a decision.
I was most pleased by the sashimi for its healthy cut and presentation, it is far better than many other local reputable restaurants.

Easily the best local sushi restaurant in the area. Extensive selection, fresh, thoughtfully prepared menu with good prices, an excellent lunch special, courteous and attentive staff and a comfortable, relaxed environment. I've been going to ichiban for well over 7 years, and I have never been disappointed. Takeout is fast and efficient, sit down service never seems rushed. There are options to serve most dietary needs. All in all it is just an amazing little place.

I have been coming to Ichiban for the past 6 years. I have not had a better experience at a restaurant! The service is very good, staff is highly attentive, caring, and knowledgeable towards their customers and the food they serve. Whether I do takeout, or dine in I always feel welcomed in and properly taken care of. The food is amazing, some of the best sushi I have had, and the best in Buffalo. I highly recommend eating here, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the employees are friendly.

I've been coming here for years, and it's never let me down. Sure, sometimes the wait's a little long, but I get it - good food is worth waiting for! Definitely worth recommending to friends.

I’ve been coming to Ichiban for over 5 years, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here. The sushi is always incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious!Whether I’m dining in or taking out, everything is timely and consistent. The hibachi is just as impressive, it’s always flavorful and cooked to perfection.
Also the servers are always kind, attentive, and make you feel genuinely welcome.
Ichiban sets the bar high, and they never disappoint. If you’re looking for top-quality sushi and hibachi with good service i highly recommend!

We arrived within ninety minutes of closing. They were still fully open, and everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. I ordered more noodles than I could possibly eat.And yet I managed to eat them. Really enjoyed the Pork Katsu as well. Stayed way too long, and yet no one rushed us. Staff was attentive but did not hover. The restaurant did everything right. I'll pay more attention to the atmosphere next time, but this time I was too busy eating. Going back many times.
