The cashier completely messed up my order which I attribute to the fact that she was cursing at a customer while I was ordering. Upon receiving the food that I didn't order, it was mediocre at best.

Tried this place for the first time, and not sure if I'll go back to this location. Music was blasting like it's a club (complete with explicit lyrics), so it was difficult to order. Got my food back home and the whole thing was wet, and everything fell out of the hoagie. If it had been in the car it would have been game over. Food was good enough that I'll give it another try sometime, but will probably go to a different location.

Had the pleasure of going to jims downtown location. And was greated by the owner as I came in.Had a nice conversation as he to my surprise started to make my sandwich. Gave him very specific instructions on how to make my sandwich. As I am very funny on how it's made. I must say he followed them to the T.And I be darned it was the steak from there Ix ever had.Thanks for your service I will definitely be returning. And recommend others.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have a stomach of steel, but after eating one of their subs my stomach was in knots for a week. I’ve never had ANY food - including the hottest nuclear wings, crazy hot curry or any other meal you can think of - do to me what this dumpster fire did.On top of that, the “service” was horrible, the wait was way longer than necessary, and nothing about this place is worthwhile.Avoid at all costs!

Amazing hoagie. I had delicious 8” beef hoagie, and it’s delicious, sauce taste amazing, didn’t expect this. Should’ve bought the 12”! Happy tummy!

Disgusting disgusting disgusting What's the point in ordering food and requesting it to be made a certain way , only for the people to make it how ever they want ???? Most time you don't find out that your order is wrong until your home , which is probably far away. So you can't take it back. It's a waste of money and very unfair !!!!! I ordered a Frenchie with extra Cheese and light onion... they must have put extra onions on the sandwich they were huge !!!??? And not even chopped up. No extra cheese And it was soooooo much pepper on it. The sandwich was really unable to be enjoyed. It was disgusting!!

First time visiting a Jim's Steakout and glad we had it for lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful in recommending menu choices. We ordered the Steak Hoagie Deluxe, Chicken Tender Jim's Bleu Sub and Beef Taco. All of the sandwiches were prepared fresh to order with good ingredients. We liked the flavors with all sandwiches in comparison with others that seem bland or lacked fresh ingredients (i.e. veggies crunchy, bread was delicious, meats were tasty). We would recommend this for anyone wanting delicious fast freshly prepared foods. Next time we'll get other menu items like poutine.
