We had a wonderful experience at Oishei Children’s Hospital ER this morning. Dr. Mark Kenyon took fantastic care of our daughter Mila — he was kind, thorough, and made us feel at ease during a stressful time. The entire staff, from the respiratory therapists to the nurses and reception team, were professional, compassionate, and attentive. We are so grateful for the care we received. Thank you for everything!
I can't say it's bad or the best, I've had bad and good experiences with my children in this hospital, but in general, the staff on the tenth floor was more than wonderful. I felt cared for and appreciated when I stayed with my son for his treatment for salmonella bacteria. I don't hide that I was reprimanded by one of the restaurant workers who refused to bring me food, as she put my son's life in danger for days and he almost fell from my lap trying...
We were transferred here from our local emergency room when they found a bowel obstruction in my 2-week old son. Within hours of arriving, they had run their tests and were able to get him into surgery that same day. We had to stay for several nights during his recovery, and the nursing staff was absolutely amazing. This was one of the most stressful moments of my life, and they did everything in their power to help my son, which ultimately saved his life.
