I am born & raised in Buffalo and have dined at almost all fine dining options except for Olivers! This was both mine and my husband's first time and it did not disappoint. The menu had alot of different options and outside your normal flavors which was enticing. We had the duck dumplings which were delish. For our entrees we had the chicken milanese and ribeye. I love trying chicken milanese anywhere I go and this was so delicious. The chicken was hot, juicy and the perfect crisp. The salad was fresh and the extra parmesan over the dish added a good touch. My husband enjoyed his steak as it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. He loved the creamed spinach which he was surprised at. Eveything was flavored perfectly. Oh and the service was so good! Very attentive and very friendly! Is it on the pricy side? Sure,but you get what you pay for. If you dont want to spend money for a good meal then stay home 😄 Will go back again!

I'm lucky enough to have tried fine dining all over Buffalo, as well as all over the country. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE Oliver's. My wife and I visited for the first time on Saturday evening. This place is top notch, and I would recommend it to anyone for a date night. We tried a whole array of things, much of it recommended by our server. Dont skip the eggs! The beet salad was wonderful. I had the halibut over sprouts which was UNREAL. My wife went for the ribeye over creamed spinach. The server we had, I didn't ask for his name, but he was awesome! Minor detail that a lot of restaurants miss, the pacing of the food was completely unmatched. The ambiance and venue is perfect. Also, they have their own parking with valet. Food was a solid 9.5/10, near perfect. We'd definitely come back.

5 couples celebrated their anniversary. The staff could not have made it more special. We had a very nice private room. Food was excellent, we enjoyed really good cocktails, and had delicious desserts. The service was outstanding. Olivers made our special night a wonderful memory.

Chic decor, impecable atmosphere, knowledge of the server, describing every single item of the menu on such detail, I love the enthusiasm in which Devon made sure we had an unforgettable time. Having moved here recently from NYC where I spent considerable time working in varying levels of hospitality from fine dining to bagel shops, Oliver's sticks out to me as a quintessential star in the Buffalo food scene.
On a ten grade scale I would give the food a 9/10 and the service a 13. Kim (and Charlie) specifically made my experience wonderful. After oysters, the steak tartare, scallops, and lemon cheesecake I was besotted, in a good way.
The true foodie passion shown in each dish, the ease and comfort in each conversation, and the level of care taken down to the detail (including specifically packaging my left over dishes based on small portions of our side conversation) all equates to a definite Must Go.
Apologies my pictures are vaguely lacking, half of them I couldn't stop myself from immediately tucking in, and the other half were taken in haste so that I could get right to them asap.

Quiet atmosphere with a skilled bartender making wonderfully thought out cocktails. Fresh and modern twist to perfectly crafted entrees. Service is one of the top in the area with knowledgeable, professional and attentive staff. We had the pleasure of being serviced by Joe who was a delight. Finished the evening with a double espresso with in-house made dessert. Finally, a restaurant that is creating some sweet meal endings on their own. Cannot wait to return.

Oliver's Restaurant has stood the test of time in Buffalo's restaurant scene! It's truly amazing that I can say I've been dining here for over 25 years! It has maintained its great reputation for fine dining in an elegant atmosphere. Some of the servers I recognize have been working here for decades as well. Excellent food and cocktails. They also offer valet parking. If you haven't been here yet I highly recommend making a reservation. Its a great date place and perfect for special occasions as well.

For my wife and I it's one of those places you go. That's far enough away to visit once because you need to see how it is but other than that it's not worth going back to. What I mean by the above statement isn't really an insult. It's just that there's other places that are of just the same high quality but are closer to us so there's no need to go there again. All the food was outstanding. All the service was outstanding. The only downside of can honestly say is The access to the bathroom is rather restricting with this curtain in the way that makes you feel like it's pulling at you as you went through to the bathroom. Therefore it's not for the disabled.
