I went here last night based on a craving with my roommate and had a great experience! Very homey and comfortable and the food was great. Awesome place for college students looking for a late night dinner place.

I’ve been going to Phovan for years, so I was surprised during my recent visit. The restaurant has been remodeled a bit and does look nice, and while the menu is slightly smaller, it still offers most of the same dishes. I ordered my usual favorite dish, which I would have rated a 10/10 in the past. Unfortunately, this time it was more of a 6 or 7. The dish was missing at least two ingredients that I immediately noticed were no longer included, which affected both the flavor and overall experience. What really disappointed me, though, was finding hair in my child’s food. The only response from the restaurant was an apology, with no further effort to address the issue. Overall, given the decline in food quality and the way the situation was handled, I wouldn’t recommend dining here.

Excellent every single time, whether i door dash, pick it up or sit down and eat! They have a little area to put your baby to play while you eat which is an ingenious idea!! They make you feel like a part of their family. They are amazing! I will forever go to this place for the best pho !

Great experience at Phovana. Kim is very welcoming and the food was delicious. I ordered the beef pho which included all the toppings and sauces. Nice spot to gather with friends and enjoy a Vietnamese coffee as well.
This used to be my favorite spot for Pho in the Buffalo area. I don’t know what changed, if it’s new ownership or what but I just ordered the same order I’ve ordered here for years and it not only tastes different they are very skimpy now with “extras” I paid for extra noodles and you used to get double the amount of noodles, now it looks like less than they used to give for just one regular order. I thought they forgot it so I called and told them and the “head chef” said he just included it in the bowl and didn’t pack it separate. I told the gentleman on the phone that there was only a handful of noodles in the order and talked to the head chef again who said he packed extra. I ordered extra broth also and that was included. I will not be ordering from here anymore. I’m so saddened by this experience… I have recommended this place to so many people and can no longer recommend it. Hopefully those who I’ve recommended it to haven’t gone yet because I would be embarrassed if they have the same experience I just had. I guess the silver lining here is now I will be on the search for the new #1 Pho in Buffalo.
