Visited for the first time with my mom on 1/31/26. Friendly, hard working host sat us within 10 minutes. We ordered a drink at the bar and chatted with the bartender, he was fluent in the menu and preparations. Our server was equally informative, she was very busy, only wished we had a bit more attention but, it was a busy Saturday. We ordered the Meatloaf Tower and the Shrimp and Scallop dinners. Both were very good, served with warm bread, salad and side. Meatloaf was a bit dense but good, Shrimp and Scallops were cooked to perfection in a garlicky butter and the vegetables with that dish were outstanding.

Amber was our server and she was awesome! So friendly and upbeat and helpful with the menu. The menu was extensive as was the specials menu. Great martinis for $10. Nice, homey atmosphere, not loud at all. I’d rather dine at the Rust Belt than at the neighboring restaurant down the road, Lucia’s (see my Google review for Lucia’s). I highly recommend The Rust Belt!

Great Food! A pretty diverse menu. Everything from burgers to steak and seafood. They also had specials, and a full bar as well. We had 16 in our group and we still got great service. Looking forward to my next visit.

Food was good. Our waitress was very accommodating. Plan on going back to try some other things off the menu. We had a small issue of our flatbread being a little overdone. Our waitress immediately took it back and brought another one out and it was perfect and tasted awesome. Must try the fig, goat cheese and caramelized onion flatbread with balsamic vinegar drizzle.

My party of four had reservations for dinner at 6,:30..the waitress was informed that we had reservations for a show downtown at 8:15.our party ordered drinks and food at the same time and again informed the waitress of our reservations downtown. She stated no problem..at 7:18 we again questioned the waitress regarding our.food. she stated it will be out soon..two of my party left the building at 8:38 and I waited until I could pay drinks we had and leave. At 8:45 three wait staff came out of the kitchen with four plates of food..keep in mind that the drive downtown was 15-20 minutes...we werevnotvgoing to wolf down food and leave...I stated I'm not paying for it as we are leaving.nthey wanted to box the food to go...I guess when you go out to enjoy an evening you can eat boxed food...at that point the wait staff insisted I pay...they stated the owner will come out to speak with me....he did come out and I couldn't say anything as he spoke loudly in front of the 12 other diners that I can leave and never come back...
I have eaten here before and had a pleasurable experience...the other kick in the butt was that I noticed five other tables who were eating before us and they were seated after us....so....don't go there if you're in a tight spot time wise...I couldn't rate the food because we didn't get it in time to eat..

I think I found the best restaurant, been here a few times now & everything is always phenomenal. The steak dinner is probably the best in Ny. No matter what you order here you can tell they use fresh ingredients & care about the product they put out. The people, the food, the atmosphere , top notch Keep up the good work!

The chicken banana pepper soup and stuffed banana peppers were very good. The lobster ravioli was okay the filling needed more flavor.

We had reservations, were greeted promptly upon arrival, and received service quickly afterward. The restaurant was starting at half capacity and filled up completely by the time we left. Parking was easy, which was a plus. I enjoyed the banana pepper soup for an appetizer. It was delicious, though a little too salty for my taste. Our entrees, chicken parmesan and fish fry, were exceptional and plentiful enough to take home. The bread and salads surpassed most we've had elsewhere. We were too full to try the desserts. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, without feeling rushed—upscale food, casual atmosphere, relaxing, and reasonably priced.

The friendliest place in Buffalo where you get greeted at the bar by bartender/owner Adono and the people sitting at the bar! My wife and I love it here (miss you Maria!) and you will too. The best place to eat a wonderful meal and you have to try everything here though highly recommend the meat loaf tower- chicken francaise- and any of the various fish fry's! T Get anything with that awesome gravy! The portions are large and the most reasonable prices around. Their fresh loaf of bread is to die for as well! You can't go wrong in this old school tavern in a wonderful old building that transports you into comfort from the moment you walk in. It's simply a happy place with awesome owners and service who are glad you came to visit. Opa !
