I feel your spot on Hamburg Turnpike was a lot better and had more of a Texas BBQ vibe. The menu was perfect and the concentration was on the food & not the bar/alcohol.
After living in Texas this is far from a TEXAS style BBQ. Please don’t get me wrong the food is not bad. But it is not consistent. Yankee has just turned into another BAR & GRILL in Buffalo with an emphasis on the bar.
People in Hamburg clearly have not eaten at TSG or Southern Junction.
Can’t understand how this parking lot is always so full. The food was awful. Brisket too much fat, pork way too dry, French fries - hard as rocks!
Service was slow!
Now that's some good stuff! What a wedge salad! So many flavors and the brisket topper was moist and tender. Lingenberry wings were delicious, too. Will definitely go back next trip to town.
