I have been to this restaurant twice and I really enjoyed my experience both times . First of all the menu is outstanding and reasonably priced . That is not counting the specials - new specials are posted on their Facebook page every day ! This past visit my aunt and I ordered two entrees - the chicken inferno (stuffed banana pepper, sweet chili sauce ) and crab stuffed haddock . Entrees come with fresh bread and a side salad. I was able to upgrade to a loaded baked potato for $3 (worth it ) . Food was as delicious as they appear in pictures I posted. Plenty for leftovers . Server was kind and accommodating . Dare I say Rust Belt is one of the best restaurants in the south towns ! Try it for yourself and see if you agree ....

So the Rust Belt bar and Grill happens to be a local favorite of ours as it is close to where we live. We went in on a Wednesday just because we did not feel like cooking, and we were seated right away. Normally, we don't make reservations, but they will accept them. The staff is very friendly and attentive while enjoying the dining experience. It's casual dress but have seen everything from jeans to shirt and tie. Basically what strikes your mood or occasion. We have yet to have a bad meal there. There regular menu has a very good variety and they have unique specials.I personally love seafood so that is my usual menu selection. Yesterday I chose from the specials menu.I had the sea bass that had a tomato and Olive topping with an olive oil sauce. The vegetables were snap peas and summer squash and for the potato I went with fries. My fiance went with the chicken francais with mashed potato. Both meals came with a salad and a mini loaf of warm bread and a seasoned oil for dipping. The bread was very soft in the center with a light crisp crust. The perfect combination! I would totally recommend Checking tthem out! They also do a special Tuesday only menu. It is usually crowded for that, so I would recommend making a reservation if you can. Oh, and shame on me for not posting a picture of the meals. We both dove in as soon as we got them!

If I had to say one thing that was not good, it would be that there were people that came after us and got served before us because something was wrong with the computers or I’m not sure, and our order had never been put in . The restaurant did adjust the bill because of their mistake. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner after that. The staff was amazing. It was relaxing and we were allowed to stay and talk.

I came here to celebrate my birthday and the food is great and we called ahead and ordered a whole pistachio cake which if you ask me is the best dessert you can get here. The staff is great and this place is always busy and it's always delicious!!

The building is dated on the outside, but cozy on the inside. We had reservations at 6pm. Ended up getting there at 5:15 pm and they were very accomadating to seat us early even though it was a busy night. The staff was very pleasant and the food was great. Everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed their meal, not one complaint. We loved the warm freshly baked crusty bread and seasoned oil and appreciated the fresh salad that came with some entrees and soda refills. We are planning on coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We went as a party of 7 last night for my moms birthday. Service was beyond slow. They never cleared our dirty plates. The food took over an hour and a half to come out. Our panko crusted crab stuffed Hoddick was too hard to bite. The fish was over done. We didn’t return in fear it would be too long to get new food made. The fish fry was super greasy, my aunt wouldn’t take more than a few bites until she removed it from her plate and it was sitting in a pile of grease. We asked for plates for the cake and we had to hunt someone down for silverware. When a different gentleman besides our server brought our forks he finally bussed our table. Food and service were terrible we will not be returning.
