I love it. It’s my dad’s favorite sauce. If they ever close I hope they share the recipe.

Giant meatballs! Everything is fast and they now take card and Apple Pay.

Earned all 5 stars. Food - perfectly cooked depression era food - delicious comfort food. Try the Pasta e Fagioli, or as most Buffaloians call it Pasta Fazool. You will want to take some home. Service - Hard working, nice staff. They make sure you are fed and satisfied. Atmosphere - a throw back to the 1920's it is exactly the right atmosphere for a humble great tasting meal.

Always a solid option. Good gravy! Make a reservation to dine in. Hope they re-open, it will be such a loss for old Buffalo.

Literally the best authentic Buffalo Italian restaurant and food. Simple, low price and great. Been coming here for over 30 years. Get the spaghetti, parm and two meatballs.

Why do you have to call to make reservations when the restaurant is empty???? And why after making reservations on a Thursday is the restaurant closed when you get there on Friday??? Don’t waste your time there

This place is great. A small authentic Italian neighborhood restaurant that makes their dishes from scratch. This was my first visit and I will be back.

This once-iconic Italian restaurant is a shadow of its former self. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt awkward—there was no sign indicating whether we should seat ourselves, and we were left unsure if we should order at the counter or at our table. The homemade bread that used to be a highlight is gone, and the sauce, meatballs, and noodles had an unappealing taste.

The staff situation was also concerning. There were only two employees: an older gentleman who appeared to be both cooking and waiting tables, and a younger woman who seemed disinterested in her work. She spent most of her time refilling her large Tim Hortons cup with fountain soda while our glasses remained empty—perhaps she was the owner? I genuinely felt for the older gentleman, who was clearly doing the work of four people.

To top it off, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, with a digital thermostat reading 82 degrees. Eating while sweating is never a pleasant experience!

R.I.P to the Santasiero’s that we once knew!

I hate to write this review because I love local businesses with history, but unfortunately the food is over priced and tasted really bad.

My bf doesn't eat red sauce so I asked if they had another sauce. They said theh had a garlic oil. I ordered a chicken parm. It was $16. My bfs noodles with plain garlic oil and a piece of breaded chicken cost more than my chix parm because they charged the items a la carte. He was so annoyed with how plain it was. He ended up adding a bunch of things to make it edible.

My chicken parm looked delicious but the sauce was not good. The cheese was r really burnt in some places and chicken patty was just so plain and soggy with cold noodles. It was really disappointing especially when all the signs say homemade and then to have a really low quality soggy chicken patty. Im grateful I didn't get the eggplant parm because if that was a frozen patty too I would cry.

My son got a meatball bomber. This kid is a vacuum he couldnt eat more than 3 bites. He said it tasted like cardboard. The total of our 3 meals was $55 and I dont know if we will be able to finish them. I hope they are able to revamp the resturaunt as I know it used to be a pillar of this community. Unfortunately, I wish I just went to Chefs.

Had reservations for 12:30, arrived at 12:10, seated us. No one in the room, just us 4
The server did not work there, just helping out
Ordered 4 beers, received them in about 10 minutes or so
We each ordered chicken parmigiana, took 30 minutes
Covered with a lot of cheese, spaghetti was barely warm, not too much sauce, breading on chicken was soggy
While waiting for our food, we ordered 4 more beers, waited again, went up to bar to check on them, sitting on the bar already opened
Understandable help is hard to find, but not a pleasant experience at all

I last went there years ago. It was a Jamie place. Now you must have a reservation for one of the scattered tables. On a weeknight yet.

I hate to write this review. The soul of this place is gone like the crowds that used to pack the house. Along with the best restaurant meatballs I ever had. It’s bad now; The food, service and atmosphere are all sub-par. It’s no longer a destination restaurant.

The meatballs flavor is off tasting more like store-bought than fresh made. The veggie lasagna was less impressive. The chicken parm was good but the noodles they were served on tasted like a cleaner of some kind.

Another review wished this place dead, he needn’t worry; From my experience, this place is well under way.
