We had a fantastic mid-week lunch here. It definitely gets busy so come early if you can. This historic location has great old-school bar atmosphere, like a scene out of It's A Wonderful Life, which to me is a huge compliment. I'm so glad we came in the winter while some Christmas decor was still up. This place was amazing. Friendly, and the food exceeded the hype! If their special of the day happens to include potato pancakes, these were amazing. And the beef on weck was the best I’ve had. I’ve gone to other places and always thought “man, this could use some au jus” but I figured that’s just an out of towner’s thinking and a faux pas to request. Nope. They have it. And it’s amazing. Did I say amazing?!
