Outstanding roast beef!! Tender, sliced thin & cooked as requested. We ordered one dinner with just the roast beef & one dinner as a sandwich: roast beef on Kummelweck bread. Both were great! Comfortable atmosphere with friendly & attentive servers. Our server, Sean, was especially helpful for us as first time visitors. Highly recommend
What a wonderful and cozy historical spot to get yourself a taste of German and Buffalo-esque comfort foods. Staff was warm and inviting! Ordered the famous Beef on Weck and their poutine.
This is a venerable restaurant, family run/owned with ties to original founders (see website). The building is old, and ‘cozy’ inside with tables close together. Has a tavern feel. It’s a neighborhood type vibe. Staff are genuinely friendly, helpful. We did takeout this (2nd) visit. I opted for the goulash with\nhomemade dumplings.
