Came here a few weeks ago and had a turkey foldie ❤️ here today for my birthday brunch. I got the breakfast foldie and cinnamon roll!! Listen if I could come here everyday for a foldie I would, so so good! Do not hesitate to come here. Split the cinnamon roll for sure. Great friendly service and awesome food !

I don’t often review restaurants, but this place is worth every star. We’re visiting Buffalo, and stumbled into this gem. By far some of the best BBQ I’ve have, including the south. If you’re in Buffalo, eat here

We've been wanting to try this place since we heard it was a james beard semifinalist and I will say that it did not disappoint. All the meats were smoked to perfection and the Asian twist to the spices was inspired. The sides were exceptional and especially liked the brisket beans and the cornbread. Even though there was a long line we made it through pretty quickly and there were plenty of seats available. we will definitely be back. The banana pudding was also a great way to end the meal.

I can not believe the small amount of brisket I received after waiting in line for a very long time, paying $31 and watching them switch food from my tray to another customer tray and then back to my food tray again! When I called to let them know how disappointed they were kit concerned. I will not be referring anyone there and I won't be ordering anything from them again! At lease the guy who cashed me out was nice!

Easily the best brisket we’ve had in the Buffalo area. Tender and flavorful with just the right amount of fat. Smoked cauliflower and basmati rice had curry flavors, lots of Indian spices and influence which made the whole experience unique. Texas Twinkie was a favorite. I had a tequila drink with guava and vanilla which was delicious, too. Service was fantastic despite how busy they were. Impressive! Good value/portions for the money. Would absolutely return!

Southern Junction’s creative barbecue, adding the heat and flavor of Indian food to Texas barbecue, is simply amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try the other meats I didn’t get a chance to this time, but the Barbacurry beef and turkey were especially good. I also really enjoyed the brisket biryani — in fact I’d love to get a big plate of it as its own dinner option! Staff are extremely patient and efficient, operating as a well oiled machine to serve up massive quantities of barbecue in a short time. Don’t let a seemingly-long line scare you off; the counter process moves people through very quickly. A wonderful addition to Buffalo’s restaurant scene!

First time. Very busy for good reason. The food was excellent. It's very small, so seating is at a premium until the weather warms up as I did see outside seating.
Will be back as often as possible for great barbecue. Only small negative comment...food could have been a bit hotter...

The staff were amazing, even the owner was very humble and really made sure I enjoyed my meal, but in all l, I really felt at home. This is the best barbecue food in buffalo, hands down. Incredible food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Even the white bread is fantastic. Every crumb delicious. Purpose built. Go in. Order the trinity. It's worth it.
