Started visiting the one on Allen st. At the time it was the only location. Now we frequent the Clinton st location. Employees are always respectful greeting customer, thanking us for ordering. A plus to the owner for training staff in such a respectful manner!!!!

The classic steak hoagie is great, however it is more expensive than other locally-owned sub places in the area. The cleanliness of the inside is horrendous and because of it, I will not order from this place again. I've eaten here about half a dozen times but seeing the inside made me gag. Grease dripping from ceiling vents above the cash register, flies everywhere, dirty ceilings caked with grease and dust, buckets of random liquids lying around the front and back cooking areas.. A health inspector would have a field day with this place.
Glad I stopped here for the steak hoagie. I will be back.

After many months of passing by here my daughter and I finally decided to give them a try.
We ordered the Steak & Sausage and Stinger hoagies. Both were very carefully double foil wrapped to prevent any leakage. After opening them we each saw that their normal 8” hoagies come standard with about double the meat than any other place offers. The sausage they use isn’t your typical sausage. It has a pepperoni like taste to it giving that combination one very amazing unique flavor.
We tried the onion rings and fresh cut fries as sides. The onion rings were nothing to write home to mom about. Typical onion rings. However I think they were slightly overcooked as each was hard and dry. The fries, I can’t tell you about them as they were forgotten to placed in the bag. I’ll give them a pass on the forgotten fries as there were 3 employees there and they were swamped with orders.
Normally I’d give this a 4 rating… however this place is called The Hoagie Stop… their hoagies are amazing and definitely worth a 5 star rating! Will definitely be back to try others in the near future.

This place is not it!!! Service was very poor the place disgusting very dirty with hundreds of flies and the food was not great either and it was very expensive I don’t recommend this place at all
I have praised this restaurant to everyone I know. I have given this place so many good verbal reviews. Tonight, I was left speechless from the poor quality of my food. I only ever get Hogies from this place but tonight I decided to try the fingers and fries. Never had a bad experience so I figured why not. Well, that will be the last time I use that method. I got the finger dinner with fries. The fingers and the bbq sauce was a quality I fully expected, off the charts delicious. The fries……. The fries……. At first touch you could tell something was off. Then I bit into them…. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!! They were cold and you could tell they had been sitting for at least an hour if not more. It takes 1000 chances to wow a customer and only one to turn them away this was my one. I called and was told, I could come back for fresh fries….. now, why would I drive all the way back there to get what I should have gotten in the first damn place while the rest off my food gets cold. I always spend $30+ tip at this establishment. I always tip 20% or more because I appreciate the service that this establishment provides. We don’t have this kind of food in this area and i personally have always wanted something like this. Do better man. Get staff that can keep the same quality of food day in and day out.

This was my first time at The Hoagie Stop. My coworker started talking about THS, so we decided to order a pick-up order at the Clinton St location. We ordered 3 subs made 3 different ways. We were charged for extra ingredients, but the subs did not have those extra ingredients. None of the subs were marked, so we had to guess which was which. One of my coworkers didn't even finish her sub. My sub was good but would have tasted better with the extra ingredients I paid for. In addition, it was a turn off to watch the guy behind the counter apply lotion to his legs, arms and face with customers in the store. Eew

Disgusting little shop with employees that appear to have never obtained their GED during their past jail sentences. The short, extremely fat female employee tried to fight me because I asked if the order had a drink, as I was working for Uber Eats. It clearly said it came with a drink, but she instead cussed and flipped the bird over a simple question. This company needs to start fresh with a new staff that isn’t quite so trashy, as the obese female employee displayed today at 12-12:30pm.

Ordered a Portobello Mushroom Hoagie with extra onions, added jalopenos, and no cheese! It was even written on the receipt that was attached to the bag and guess what!? I still got cheese, no jalopenos and no extra onions! Not going back there. I'll simply make my own. I can not do dairy for a reason so that's why I said no cheese. It was loaded full of cheese smh.
